The keatinge family sent me a lovely message on new years ever with a little pic of Mr. Alfie! Alfie was my 1st foster puppy & we had him for quite a while as he was a very sick little man. It is such a great feeling to see how well he has come on. Makes it all worth while.
Just had a mini update from Blitzens family – he is doing really well & has settled in great
Cried constantly for the first two nights but is fine now with not a peep at night either Oh Laura I am so sorry to hear this. Really I am. It is so hard to let foster babies go even to their forever homes. I can’t imagine what you must be going through. At least little Lucy’s last few weeks were full of the love & care she deserved. Thinking of you x
Blitzen is such a gentle little puppy. He is going to make his new family very happy. With a little TLC & patience at the start, he will settle in no time like all pups/dogs

The poor little man has been passed from billy to jack, it must be so hard for him to know where he fits in Be happy little man….Blitzens second forever family came to meet him last night & are coming to take him home with them tonight. He seemed at ease with Hazel & her two girls. We wish him all the very best with them & look forward to lots of updates
I cant understand it myself but sure what can you do. The poor little fella doesnt know what is going on
. He has plenty of interest though so hopefully he will get the home he so deserves really soon. It will be even harder to let him go the 2nd time around. We have really taken to this little man. He is going to make somebody really very happy Blitzen’s forever home didnt work out, through no fault of his own, so he came back to me yesterday morning the poor little mite
. We are seacretly delighted to have him back as there were tears when he left but he will find his forever home soon hopefully. Whoever gets this little man will be VERY lucky! Delighted she has found her forever home after such a long wait. Whoever has taken her home is very lucky, she is a little sweetheart Blitzen is coming on really well. He has such a gentle nature but by no means shy, he is a really friendly little puppy. He follows me around the house now with his tail wagging constantly, & will sit beside me quietly while I clean or cook
. He was delighted to jump & tumble around the beds while I was changing them yesterday . We have started a little basic training & he has picked it up straight away . He loves the garden but wasn’t impressed at all by the rain yesterday! Lola went outside to the loo in the rain & Blitzen followed he ran straight back in & cried looking out the door for about ten minutes because he wanted to go out, poor pet Ah thanks for the quick update
She will settle in a couple of nights, once she gets used to her new routine She looked really happy with you all last night before you left. She is lucky to have found such a nice family! He is a little cutie. He loves to just sit and be cuddled, loves his grub & is doing great with toilet training. He jumps from seat to seat in the evening until he has found a comfy spot/some ones lap to go asleep in & snores quietly while he sleeps – VERY CUTE! He loves Lola (basset) & is my little boys (age 5) partner in crime, he doesn’t leave his side. Loves being out in the garden running in the grass, chasing his sister & Lola. His pics dont do him justice he is just adorable
