The beautiful Oscar looks so well! Cannot belive his long legs!! I had the pleasure of fostering him for a few weeks when he was tiny and afraid of everything, fantastic to see him so confident! Hope to see him in St Annes where I am everyday! Xx
Oh my God, cannot believe how well she looks! And such beautiful long legs! I fostered Bella for a few weeks when she was so tiny and am thrilled to see her looking so well. That park looks familiar to me! If it is St Annes in Raheny, I will be on the lookout for her as I am there with my dogs every day. What a lucky girl she is! X
Wonderful to see Baxter looking so well, he is such a happy boy and I cant wait to see more pics of him when he is all fully grown and his wonderful double coat is all grown back. I still think of him and the happiness he brought to his foster home here xxx
A close up of Baxters’ coat……he has a waterproof double coat like a Newfoundland that should never be shaved. As you can see, some eejit hacked it off with a razor and this poor baby is is left having a very bad hair day…. Makes me love him even mire though.
However, it is starting to grow back and with the right food and nutrients, he will return to his former glory in no time. His tail is truly magnificent though and gives a sneak preview of what he will look like in a few months
image.jpg well what can I say about Baxter??? After all the dogs I have owned, minded and fostered over the years, I can honestly say that this dog is one in a million. He has THE nicest temperment I have ever come across. Considering what he must have been through to eventually end up in the pound, he is such a happy happy boy. Words fail me when I think that he once belonged to someone and they let him go, if he were mine, I would never let him out of my sight and would have micochipped him at least twice!! Well, their loss, their big loss, because this dog is a true diamond.
Baxter appears to be a Newfoundland cross but he will never be as big as one, he has inherited the fluffy black double coat and the gentleness of a Newfoundland but the face is more like a Spitz. I would estimate him to be about 8 months now and the size of a small collie. Looking at his paws, he will not grow to be a very large dog at all.
He is good on the lead, in the car, with my other dogs and cat and amazing with my kids. He is not greedy and reponds well to instructions though will need to be taught most basic commands. He seems really easy to train and after 2 days, he will stay and give the paw.
All Baxter wants is to be loved, he is so affectionate and eager to please and will be a truly be a mans best friend for life for whoever is lucky enough to make this baby part of their family.
He deserves a second chance because this dog is a true beaut.image.jpgThis is the beautiful ladylike Keisha. She is a happy little girl who likes to be picked up and cuddled a lot! She is fluffy and loves having her belly tickled. She likes to hang out with the other dog guys and fits right in! She loves her dinner and then a 2 hour nap straight after. She is a real little girl who cant wait to find her own gang of humans to hang out with
image.jpgAllow me to introduce cutie Kevin! He is goofy and gangly and gorgeous! He likes to look at snails and sit in his water bowl. He is the sweetest gentlest goof ball who loves to be carried around in my pocket. He still misses his mammy and would love a home with LOTS of cuddles and have a human who would be his forever best friend.
