ahhh.jpegPatCMemberI’m sorry but I just had to post this!
ahhh.jpegPatCMemberBest of luck Molly, keep up the good fight, we are rooting for you!!!
PatCMemberWell that photo has made my day!!
I’m so thrilled that Lulu and my little angel Rosie/Ariel are getting on so well.
PatCMemberWell there is one happy boy!!!!…..Certainly love at first sight between himself and Cassie, It took weeks before my 2 were kissing like that
Then again, Cassie is a bit easy with the kisses, I remember I was somothered in them when I was doing the home visit. So Sancho better keep a close eye on her. LOL.
I really couldn’t wish for Sancho to go to a nicer forever family, I have no doubt that we will be in for some fanatastic updates!!
PatCMemberMyself, Harry and Siog were taking our usual walk in the park this evening and we bumped into Freddie and his mammy Delores. He is a lovely friendly puppy with no trace of the nervousness that was in this little boy early. He says to say hello to Fiona and everyone at DID.

IMAG0085.jpgPatCMemberWhat a few months it has been since my last update, I have been so busy helping my daddy bring supplies to foster homes and performing homevisits for DID, You can’t be to careful and daddy does need a second opinion, he can’t be trusted to do things on his own.
Things were going along fantastic then one lovely warm evening we went for a drive to the northside (this usually means a beach trip). We stoppped in a car park and daddy told me out for a walk. All sounds good so far eh, then this girl dog came up to me with her mammy. Yeah ok thats fine will can sniff for a bit whilst the auld folks chat.
Ok, all’s good, I jump into the car, next thing this girl is put in the car beside me… YES, IN MY CAR!!!!!!! It turns out she is going to be staying with us, I KNOW, A BIG SMELLY GIRL!!!
We get home and the first thing yer one does is gobble down MY DINNER!! Well I will have to put a stop to this, so I promptly proceed to pick up all of my toys and put them in the toy box and guard it with my life. But it turns out that she is not really into toys because daddy has to teach her how to play. Imagine not being able to catch a ball…. Girls eh!!
So anyway I have kinda gotten used to having the young one around, she is a bit posh and scared of things but we are bringing her back down to earth. Very slowly.
But it is nice to have someone to play with while daddy is as work, and it’s cool to have someone to boss around too. That’s all for now here are a couple of recent photos. Love to all in DID….WOOF!!

HSP3.jpgPatCMemberRoyal Announcement:
I, Princess Siog would like to thank you all for your wonderful comments. I am really sorry for not communicating sooner but I have been busy acclimatising to city life, one has to admit that it has not been easy, as life here is pretty fast paced . However with the help of a few people, I have realised that a crisp packet blowing in the breeze will not slice my head off and that there is no danger of one of those thousands of lamposts falling on my head.
My loyal courtisans Prince Harry and Pat bring me to see the most interesting places, I think that I have been to almost every park in the city, but one’s favourite place has to be the beach at dollymount, there is is just something about the sand underfoot and the sea breeze that make one feel wonderful.
Thank you all again for your support.
Princess Siog.
Ta ta.
HSP.jpgPatCMemberWell done Audrey and Milly!!
PatCMemberWell this post has put a huge smile on my face.
I remember meeting Rosie, Steve (Marley) and Neptune when they were first taken under the DID wing. Three very confused dogs. It is so wonderful to see them so happy and healthy!!
Well done to their wonderful parents and DID of course
PatCMemberWell done Sheila and family!! Thanks for the wonderful photos, what a great Happy ending!!
PatCMemberHi Neena,
to be prefectly honest, Whilst Siog is quite tall, she is a timid lady. She likes her home comforts, resting on the sofa, getting cuddles, playing a bit of tug with Harry followed by a nice cup of tea. I’m quite sure that she was a victorian lady in a previous life. She shy’s away from sudden movements and loud noises (I think she finds them a little gauche) because of this I genuinely do not think that she would be suitable for trails.
She would be best suited a a fairly quiet home either on her own or with another dog. All Siog asks for is to be loved, I really believe that she is and would be quite happy with that.
Apologies for any disappointment that this causes but I am best to be honest with you.
PatCMemberFantastic news, well done Velvet….you are are lucky to have such caring siblings and Mother.
PatCMemberHi Neena,
I had to look up what withers were .
I’ll measure her over the next few days, but i warn you it may not be 100% accurate as I have never done it before.
She hasn’t shown any interest in cats when we have been out on the street, even while Harry has been going balistic beside her. I am going to take her over to my sisters tomorrow even to see how she gets on with her cats.
The only thing that I would say is that she is not an overly energetic dog, she runs after Harry for about 15 -20 mins in the park and then she slows down to walk with me. She loves her sleep. But having said that her energy levels have gotten better since she has been with us, so maybe this is something that would improve.
Siog2.jpgPatCMemberBest of luck for tomorrow Velvet!! All our fingers and paws are crossed for you!! xx
