Just back from 6 month puppy check at the vet.. Bailey is doing great filling out in the right places, everything growing as it should.. she had an ear infection a couple of weeks ago that has totally cleared up now…she’s 4.9kg hard to believe as she’s so small and light ( must be the lungs adding the weight  )Just one more little visit to have her little op done in a couple of weeks and then it’ll be down to her yearly check-ups..

Well just back from first hair cut and she looks dapper.. put on her coat to keep her warm.. this little girl was so good and even fell asleep while being groomed (she was enjoying the attention without Cesar and Cookie ha ).. she has a very pleasant nature (unusual for a yorkie ha )

Bailey (DID Ariel) is doing really well.. No accidents in the house.. She was at the vet yesterday and had her second injection (Not a whimper out of her) so she’ll be out socialising with all Cesar and Cookie’s play dates soon enough.. Look out world she might be small but boy has she a big set of lungs :D . She’s ball mad so look out cookie she’ll be after yours in the field .. Will post more pic’s soon..

What a cutie she is.. I love the terrier breed . I have two, a Westie (westie rescue)and a Westicott (a DID dog).. A yorkie would make a great addition to our pack.. When will she be ready for adoption ?

Poor Bonnie.. glad to hear she’s bouncing back.. It can be just as scary for you as it is the dog..It seems Cookie will have no long term damage to the shoulder but keeping her in constant contact with the vets if i see any sign of distress in her.. she is such a sweet heart and so gentle.. she never even cried all the time she was in vets or ucd.. To be honest i was worse than her and my daughter had to console me  So glad i called her Cookie now as she is one tough little Cookie..

Thank you Kay and Mutley for the kind words and concern

Hi sorry i haven’t been on for a while.. we had a mishap with cookie.. she was running happily out in the back garden with my westie and got a very serious open fracture on her left shoulder..(trampoline owners beware, make sure the u bar and screws that hold safety netting is up high)it was a rush to the vets and they did all they could but had never seen this type of fracture before and we had to transfer her to UCD were Joseph was brilliant.. At one stage we thought the leg would have to be amputated but luckily she didn’t sever the nerves running through the shoulder.. she spent a total of 6 days away from home between the vets and UCD.. Thankfully shes now back to herself and it seems she’ll not have a limp.. I’ll be forever grateful to to LIZ in Barbarie O’Malleys and to UCD for the care and kindness they showed me and cookie
