On the way home last night I said to Nick ‘ I can’t understand why nobody has taken him before now.’
He replied, ‘It’s because he was waiting for us.’
That says it all. It must be fate. [/quote:2c48i468]

Truer words were never spoken! :D

Congratulations to Baxter and his new forever family! It sounds as though he’s having a great time and settling in so well. It’s a credit to all the fosterers along the way how well this boy has come on and to bring out the super dog that he truly is. Go Bax!!! :D

She’s so pretty and looks like she’s settling in great! I recently got a nervous collie and she also freaks out over manholes but a bit of reassurance after you or paws walk over it and in time, the fear reduces considerably. As to other dogs, just give her time and she will come around – a little bit of exposure gradually and that should help to build her confidence up and then increase it as things improve. Best of luck and look forward to updates! ;)

Hi all! Many thanks for your replies and advice. Well, we continue to wreak havoc (in a nice way ;) ) and the garden is almost the way we want it now – we don’t agree with the saying "leave things as you find them"!

We have a smart new plastic bed (the concrete ones were out of stock  ). We are enjoying bed sharing – Bonnie in Keeley’s bed (with or without Keeley); Keeley in with Mac; and sometimes we all share the one bed! 8-) We get on very well together but Keeley keeps rounding us up during games and gently nips our hind quarters….eh, as if we look like the black sheep of the family?!

We went to the beauty salon (Doggy Doos in Swords) last week and got a much needed wash, cut and blow dry. Thanks to Martina and Nicole for doing such a lovely job! :) We even found ourselves on Facebook from the last visit there! TWO IN – FOUR OUT

So will it be Dora or will it be Dots?
The choice is all yours or adopt them in lots! :P
Their four siblings are earmarked to homes anew
This Sunday in fact so they’ve joined the queue!
There’s no denying they’ve all had a rough start
But Dora or Dots want to enter your heart!
So talk to your family…they will agree
That Dora and Dots are as cute as can be! ;)
