There are new photos of Pippa in Dogs Needing Homes. She is just gorgeous now – her scars are healing very nicely and her coat is soft and shiny. Just lovable.
Delighted for Silver – he looks so lovely. Staffies really come into their own when they have another dog to play with as they so love company. Walking them together is a great way to introduce dogs to each other.
Thanks so much will try your suggestions and let you know how it goes. Waited with her this evening and made a fuss of her and gave her a treat when she performed. Will keep this up and get the rest of the men in my life to do the same.
Kizzy had a run in with another dog before we got her and looks miles better now. She is such a loving girl and wants to cuddle in to you all the time.
Regarding house training – she does not seem to realise she should go to the toilet when she is let out – only seems to go when she really needs to. This means accidents on the floor. Never came across this before in an older dog – have house trained many pups over the years – v easy as they ‘perform’ all the time and can be praised and so learn easily – just cannot manage to catch Kizzy at the right time to praise her – any help really appreciated.
