It’s been a long time since I updated on Woody / Scott. He continues to be the apple of my eye and life seems to revolve around him!
He loves his routine of going to granny in the morning where he hops into bed with her for a little snooze! A play with his cousin the springer during the day and home at night for some more spoiling.
I can’t believe how lucky we were that he found us. He has loads of love and cuddles and kisses to give everyone and EVERYONE loves him! His american human cousins even send him texts and call him Hairy McLary!
He’s looking very distinguised now with his greying muzzle.
Some day I hope we can find him another DID brother or sister, I know he’d love that

Woody is getting ready for his first christmas with us, his stocking is hung up and attached pic of him in festive attire! Not impressed…at all! We are so happy to have found him, he’s a little treasure and has even taken a liking to the cat, tho’ the cat just ignores him! He’s so laid back he’s almost horizontal!

I hope he’s ready for the many walks to work off the turkey and brussel sprouts!

Happy Christmas to all at DID and to all the wonderful people who give their time and love to foster our special four legged friends.

Just a quick update on Woody, he’s lying on my feet as I type, fast asleep! He’s really settled in well and everyone loves him. A run on the beach last week was a huge success so will be a regular thing. Typically terrier he believes that if he likes it it’s his, if it’s in he mouth – it’s his. If he had it a while ago – it’s his,if he can take if from you – it’s his. If it’s edible – it’s his, if he chews something up, all the pieces are his. If he gets bored with something – its anyones but if he wants it back it’s his!
All in all he can do what he wants, good or bad but is so adorable that he’s forgiven straight away!

A week on and Woody has made himself at home, well and truly! He’s settled in and is a happy little camper now! He loves hopping into the car for a drive – anywhere he doesn’t care! Everyone he meets adores him and he is just the friendliest little man. He’s met both cattle and horses and has decided he doesn’t like them!! Now if only he would be nice to the cat and not chase him! Poor thing, we haven’t seen him in a week!
Thanks to Julie and Dave for taking such good care of him.

My name’s now Woody and I spent my first night in my new home last night. I’m still a bit insecure and was a bit lonely last night, but I have a great bed and garden, and everyone has been good to me. I met my new ‘cousins’ a springer and a retriever so I’m pooped tonight!
