A little update on Sid:
I already feel like he’s lived here forever! Last weekend we had a little welcome to the family party for him and I baked him a doggy cake, which he loved (he really really loves his food!).
He reluctantly shared it with some other doggy friends during the week.
He has a new bed, so now he has two to choose from. Sometimes he wakes up, stretches, moves to the other bed and goes back to sleep again. A creature of leisure!
Sid is getting more playful every day as I think he is getting more and more comfortable with us. Last night we had a party and he was so sociable saying hello to everyone, and then curled up on his bed and slept. I was so impressed as I thought he may be a little overwhelmed with all the people. He is a popular little guy!
Here are some photos.

MaevememaeveMemberWhat a beautiful dog! I used to have a Glen of Imaal cross and he reminds me so much of her.
MaevememaeveMemberHere are some more photos of Sid, he’s a wonderful dog. So well behaved and chilled out. He’s settled in very well (he is currently fast asleep in front of me after a long walk this morning).
He’s getting his stitches taken out today and has two more days of antibiotics for his kidney infection (he’s had a few accidents, which I assume is because of the infection). You would never know from his behaviour that he wasn’t at full health!

Sid 012.JPGmemaeveMemberSid has come to stay with us now and we are so in love with him already. He’s so chilled out and affectionate. I’ll post some more pictures of him over the weekend.
MaevememaeveMemberI met Phoenix yesterday and fell completely in love with him. My friend and I were allowed to take him out just to play, as his leg was injured. He’s so incredibly adorable, he took a box of dog biscuits out of my bag and chewed up the box. He’s a really playful little guy and it broke my heart to leave him.
Could any indication be given as to how long he’d need fostering for? I’d LOVE to take him, but my family and I have a puppy coming tonight (and hopefully staying for good!) so I’m not sure I could convince them to take on a second. I’ve also contacted others who I thought may be able to, but no joy as of yet. I’d love for someone I knew to take him so I could still visit!
