Today was my first full day with Bindi as she is now called and her and roxy spent the day in the garden playing and snoozing. She is doing reasonably good. Last night She didn,t settle very well and Ihad to get up about 20 times during the night as she was crying alot. I resisted the temtation to take her into the bedroom as Roxy was quite happy to sleep in the living room which was a first for her since her babies went to their new homes. We went for a walk this morning and I took the pair of them to the park this evening and they had a great time. She doesn,t go far away from me at all and will come back when called. Did,t bother with other dogs only had eyes for Roxy. She doesn,t seem to have much training of any sort and I,m working on the sit and give the paw at the moment. The only thing she does right is to wait for me to go out the door first and in the side gate first. She had a few accidents last night so hopefully that is just first night nerves and some decent food. The pair of them are now sleeping in the one bed. I,m taking her to my vets in the norning for a full check up and to have her nails trimmed. Will keep you posted. Maura.

Thanks SonyaandJimmy for the pics. They are brilliant and Rosie looks like a midget beside Alex. She is a little dote and I had a real soft spot for her as she was the first of the trio to love her cuddles. She was the smallest of the three when born. She always had her tongue hanging out. Thanks so much for giving her and Alex such a wonderful home. Maura.

Hi all. Well I picked up a very stange looking dog from the vets earlier only to discover Poor Mylo is a girl. Well I cant say she is a stunner at the moment but hopefully one day she will be. She has been brilliant so far and of course Roxy is over the moon with a new playmate. She is a very affecionate and gentle girl. I took the pair of them for a walk and they played ball together. She is very good on the lead and was fine off it and just played around . She knows how to fetch and loves been praised. Mind you it was a bit embarrasing when a few of the locals took flight when they saw her as she is a sight for sore eyes at the moment. When I took her home I gave her a nice shower as she was very smelly. She didn,t like it at all but loved been dried and brushed, I mean the few scraggly bits of hair thats left on her. She had a big hearty dinner and showed no signs of food aggression even though she was starving. Her and Roxy were swapping bowls so no issues in that department. She is now all snuggled up in her bed and seems to be quite content. I have to find a nice girlie name for her. In the meantime her are a few pics of her after she arrived home. You,ll see what I mean. Maura.

Hi Evie, Delighted that little Happy is settling. She is just so cute. She loves her cuddles and when you can get her to focus she will sit and give the paw. Has her little beard grown much. How is her toilet training going. I,m thrilled she has found a friend in Lucy. Dying to see the pics when you get the hang of it. Thanks again for the update. Maura and her Mammy Roxy. :D

Hi all. Well the good news is Little Miss Roxy is just beginning to settle after the ordeal of losing her babies to wonderful new homes. She is starting to relax and is not crying so much.Just the odd little whimper when something reminds her of her babies. She is having two walks a day in the park and has become a bit of a celebrity for her antics. She loves to play with the biggest dogs she can find and she makes them all chase her as she is alot more nifty on the paws than they are and it is hilarious to watch. She loves all dogs and hasn,t got an ounce of fear in her. She is so friendly with everyone and is great with kids. She is a beautiful little dog. Very striking. She does the sit, give the paw and roll over I discovered. She adores company and as I,m working it,s not the ideal situation for her since the babies went. She is improving on the lead and is fine walking back from the park, going there is another story, she is always in such a rush, She only weighs about 5lbs so she is easy enough to manage. She is a sweet little thing. Will keep you posted. Dying to kow how the babies are, Maura.

Well all my babies are gone to their new homes and we are all missing them terribly. Poor Roxy is beside herself with grief. We,ve had a terrible time with her as she is looking for her babies everywhere. She is so upset and she is crying all the time right up into all our faces and its horrible to see. So i,ve been to the vets and have come back armed with diffuser, and calm aid so hopefully this will improve things for her. I had to resort to giving her Bachs flower remedy last night as it was all I had. She came to bed with me and spent the night in and out of the bed pacing the house. I took her for a big long walk twice in the night and she has been walked again today. The poor little thing. She has been a fantastic mammy and is not an ounce of trouble so it is heartbreaking to see her like this. The babies are all gone to brilliant homes from Kaydoyles house and I,m looking forward to the updates. Have great lives my little ones. Lots of hugs and cuddles. Your foster mammy Maura and your real mammy Roxy. xxxx
