martinacMemberah what a lucky thing he found you.. I hope all of his wee problems gets sorted and he is feeling much better very very soon!! You have given him a chance which is just so so lovely. I know you were feeling bad about Brian on saturday but looks like you were destined to save Brownie in the end..just hope Bindi gets out soon too now that Brian has found a foster..who knows if her life was as bad as poor little brownies! thanks again Sheene7 and nice to meet you on saturday!. Keep us updated on Brownie’s progress..
martinacMemberoh my..what an absolutely fabulous photoshoot..super looking all of them..what a beauty little rambo turned out to be! well done to you..
martinacMemberlook at that beauty! Am so so happy to see this lovely guy out and safe..so many lovely doggies in the pound! they all deserve a chance..
martinacMemberI can collect from the pound this evening and hold onto Brian until you can meet me. I am in Glasnevin but can come to meet you somewhere if that makes it easier for you. Please let me know..pm me with your tel number!
martinacMemberI walked brandon on saturday and he was absolutely no bother at all. He is oblivious to other dogs and just loves to potter along in the grass. I gave him some cuddles but it doesnt seem like he is used to getting many of them as he kinda just looked at me as if to say " Ok this is nice!". This guy is in bad state and really needs a good scrub down..what a handsome guy he would be! a lovely dog..absolutely no trouble at all..
martinacMemberI did not walk Bandit myself but met him a number of times over the last couple of weekends. I would say he is an older dog..maybe 6 or 7 though you should check this. He seemed fine with other dogs and did not bother with them. He is biggish and would need a firm hand on the lead as he could be quite strong. He has a lovely face though..you would feel so sorry for him as the larger dogs do tend to get overlooked!! given a good clean and a warm home am sure this guy would be great!
martinacMemberthat is super news…just shows how important it is to spread the word of this site…
martinacMemberyes it is..go to the pound and fill out a form. This dog is not under the care of DID so you can adopt direct from Ashton. You can go up there and meet him etc.. good luck!
martinacMemberam so delighted for Dancer..knew she was special even back in her pound days! hope you are not too sad..must be so hard to let them go. Big hugs and kisses to such a special dog..
martinacMemberwow…what a transformation from the scared little guy I picked up from the pound that day. He looks so so happy and healthy now and that sadness in his eyes is no more. Thanks so much keara for giving him such love and kindness over the last few weeks..what a lovely guy! Had the feeling he was a cuddly bear from that first day..absolute dote!! lucky the family who will get him!!
martinacMemberwell this girl was always special..loved her when she was in the pound.a total beauty then and look at her now!!
absolute joy..a true special collie..I too cant believe she has not been snapped up but you know Dancer you are waiting for that very special home…you are just gorgeous!!martinacMemberjust watched this…so hard to keep the tears away! Lucy looked so good..again well done Laura for getting her weight up and giving her a fabulous 3 weeks. What a great programme this is to highlight all cases of cruelty and abandonment for all animals..hopefully it will heighten awareness even more in this country not only for DID but for all charities that work with animals. Well done all for getting Lucy to UCD…such a pity it was not the right result for the poor little thing…god bless her!!
