What a gorgeous puppy! I love that face – he looks so innocent
livMemberFabulous news for Nick and Gizmo! Max and I met the new family and they were so nice so we were keeping everything crossed that things would work out. Great for all concerned
livMemberDear Nick
I have been watching your page for such a long time and think you are one of the most handsome chaps aroound – and you look like you have great personality too! I love GSDs and Collies so you are def one of my DID favourites. My wish for the holidays is that someone takes another look at you and offers you the perfect forever home. Until that time comes I hope you enjoy your time in foster.
one of your fans,
Liv
livMemberIm so sorry to hear this sad news.. Poor little thing – at least she spent her last months in loving foster care.
livMemberHe looks like he is being spoiled rotten! What a lucky puppy
livMemberI just knew baxter would give you a great welcome home. isnt that the wonderful thing about our pets – that they are always so happy to see us when we come in the door. He must be very happy to have his family together again.
livMemberBelated birthday wishes Kim/Animalhelper. Hope it was memorable for all the right reasons. Liv, Max and Jet
livMemberJet is a real goldilocks puppy – not too big, not too small, just perfect. he is having fun playing with his new big brother Max and is getting along just fine with Ribery the cat. They were even lying on the bed together this afternoon. Jet went to St Annes Park today and met some of the morning regulars. Then friends came over this afternoon with their dog and we all went to another park to play so Jet was pretty wiped out. He is sleeping well and eating like a horse. We think he might be a mix of lab, collie and staffie but its really hard to tell – we just think he is the cutest little thing and so gentle and pretty quiet. Our photos dont do him justice at all but I was never good at taking photos of black dogs.

CIMG0453.JPGlivMemberThat is great news. We had Judy in foster for a brief spell and she was full of joy and absolutely gorgeous. its hard to believe that so many dogs like her end up in rescues. Best wishes girl!
livMemberWhat a lovely photo! Judy looks so wise and patient taking her turn behind the golden dogs. She looks so well in all of the photos. It looks like she has really blossomed with all of her new friends.
livMemberJetta drove off this afternoon with her new family – she will really love playing with the boys and helping to watch after the baby. She can look forward to weekends at the beach and lots of fun.
livMemberWe are so happy for Jetta – she has been keeping Max on his toes, in fact on our walks she sometimes starts playing with his feet. Last night she kept going to the back door to go out, and then run over and jump onto a chair so that she could look in the window. She did this half a dozen times, going out into the rain, jumping on the chair and then looking in. Poor little thing. I kept trying to reason with her but you know puppies…
livMemberLittle Jetta is just fine. She is a good walker on the lead and was very brave when the DART barriers came up and it was so scary. She didnt want to walk toward the tracks after the train went by but she did.
She has been driving the cat mental and the cat has been holed up on the roof and on top of the kitchen cabinets. If anyone is looking for a fun loving little girl, you could be doing my cat a big favour!
Not a peep out of her during the night.

P1010210.JPGlivMemberJetta came to stay with us yesterday thanks to Claire. She’s a bundle of love! Totally exuberant in a manageable sort of way. She is a wiggly friendly puppy and is having lots of fun with her squeaky toys and playing tug of war with Max. They get on great. We went to the park today and she played in the dog park with a husky and had lots of fun.
She doesnt seem to be a big digger in the garden which is good because we have enough craters as it is. If you leave the house she’s up at the window looking out and giving a little whine.
I put her bed, blanket and toys in the crate last night and put her in. She was a little resistant and whined for about 5 minutes and then there wasnt a peep out of her until the morning. She can probably sleep outside of a crate no problem but I didnt want the two dogs to get up to too much mischief in the kitchen because I had a lot of things on the counters.
She seems to be housetrained – no accidents in the house. She did come with a cat warning and we have a cat and we have had to separate them after the initial meeting which was a bit frantic. the cat was on the table and didnt give Jetta much of a chance before lashing out and then it all got a bit out of control. I will work with the two – I think in this case it was the cat more at fault than the puppy.
Jetta is a lovely looking puppy, long legged, not that large, certainly not as heavy as say a lab puppy of the same age. She will make a fun loving family pet. She’s light as a feather on the lead. I’ll get some photos up asap.livMemberIm loving the photos and the stories. He is such a character and is obviously so happy with you and with country life. he is so strong and so funny. He used to refuse to go down the stairs ahead of me and would only walk down behind me but pushing me with his head. I almost lost my footing at times and would step to the side to let him go in front but he never would. I wonder if he goes down steps first now. have a great Christmas together!
