Hopefully Kenny is improving, he is alert, wagging his tail sometimes, taking fluids but unfortunatly not solids yet. He is very thin and has only eaten a few morsels of food. I am going through all the foods, thought I was on to a good thing with ham but unfortunately not. He is a very gentle soul, loves going out for a quick little walk up and down the street. He settles very quickly when I leave him. He is doing a lot of sleeping in a warm safe place so that has to be good for him. Come on Kenny!!!

I so glad that Dancer spent Christmas with you, I imagine all the doggies are probably spoilt rotten in your house. I have to say that I am really surprised you still have such a beautiful dog like her. I thought she would have been snapped up by now. Hope she finds her forever home in the New Year.

Sweet gentle little baby. Hope someone can take this puppy in to a warm foster. I met this little on when I went in to collect Kenny.

Kenny is tucked up in a blanket on my sofa. He got very perky when he saw the pussy cat but she is wisely staying upstairs and hoping that I will give her more cold turkey. Kenny system is poorly and and everything that comes out of him is liquid but he has not vomited and he drank some water. I am now preparing his chicken and rice grub. He was very good in the car and I have good hopes for him.

Harley is really a very lovable dog. As he was feeling under the weather, I sat with him for a bit and he nuzzled into me. A responsive side that I had not seen to Harley before, poor guy. He is obviously traumatized that he ended up in the pound in the first place and has lost his faith in humans. He was in much better form and health today but he does need to be somewhere warm to get back on top. I hope someone can help this lovely dog out, he has the most beautiful face and is so gentle.

Mammy JRT got her St Stephen’s Day walk today. She is a nervous girl and will shake with nerves. She just needs lots of tlc , care and attention. She is very affectionate.

Hopefully Harley will find a home soon. He is such a quiet boy, he looks very down sitting in his kennel. I had him out for a walk this morning, he is great on the lead and very good with other dogs.

Kerry in great form this morning, rolling around in the frost and trying to eat it aswell. She is such a personality, the cutest and best humoured dog.

The Mammy JRT is gorgeous, she is very nervous and seems to be more so of men. She did come out for a walk with me and wanted lots of cuddles. She was fine with the other dogs she met. No cats around so could not judge how she would be but I expect she would probably chase them. She is a beauty, I felt sorry leaving her back in her kennel but I promised her a very special Christmas Day walk with lots of kisses and cuddles.

I am amazed to see such a cute little dog still in Ashton. She has bundles of personality. She loves all the dogs, big and small, just rolls over on her back when near another canine. She is a bit wiggley but so small that she is easy to pick up and then just licks your face. She is a little dote.

I got a little bit of knowing attention from Harley this morning. He was not walking with me and sometimes they give more attention to the person that they are not leaded to. Afterwards he was lying out in his kennel, he had his pigs ear beside him, I expect he was keeping it for later. Very quiet placid dog.

The man who had Kenny out today could not understand why someone would not fall madly in love with him and want to take him home. He was not in a position himself but I think if he was Kenny would be sorted.

This little one will not have to spend the night in the pound. Headed into foster just as the pound was closing.

Ah Belinda, thanks so much for having Barney to stay for Christmas. I have been thinking a lot about him and I was definitely going to make a fuss about him if he had the misfortune of having to spend Christmas in Ashton. Now I will have more time to fuss over the others. Merry Christmas to you all!
