Brian is a total gentleman, I agree. He was a little anxious in the car at first but he quickly settled. He was so friendly with his fosterers two dogs. He is a dote, wish I could have kept him. Thanks for taking him in to your lovely home, where he will definitely receive all the tlc he deserves.
Biana certainly has grown and has put on a bit of weight too. She looks great. Its wonderful that you were able to give her that chance to blossom. Thank you.
Biddy is a medium plus sized dog. Absolutely lovely.
Biddy is absolutely lovely. She is friendly with dogs and humans and very puppyish. Hopefully she will get into foster soon. Herself and Bella will have to do their time while in heat in Ashton pound.
Bandit has a grey muzzle so he is an older gent but I have no idea how old. He has lovely droopy ears and his photo does not do him justice at all. His coat is a little matted and he needs a bit of tlc. He walks fine on the lead, but he is a strong dog. He gets on fine with other dogs. He knows a few basic commands, he will sit and give paw. He actually does it automatically without you having to ask him if he knows there is a treat.
Brett is still in Ashton pound. It is rare to see Red Setters in Ashton, although there have been a few in the past. The unusual thing is that Brett is in so long. He is a gorgeous dog, lovely temperament. As you can see from his first photo, he is a real cuddler.
Thats great news for Jingle. Thanks for fostering him and giving him that chance. I know you will all miss him especially Max.
All dogs under urgent action are at risk especially when the pound is full. They have to make space as more dogs come in. DID do the very best to make sure that all healthy dogs get out and safe but they are relying on offers from other rescues or from foster homes which are often full themselves.
Brianna looks so lovely. She had such a lost look on her face. I remember when I would open her kennel door in Ashton, she would put her two little paws on my shoulder as if to give or get a hug from me. She is definitely a happy dog now to be out of the pound and staying with you. Thanks
Brett is a very friendly dog. He gave me a lovely greeting yesterday when I met him out walking and today he looked really happy running around on his lead. He was very playful with Bindi the collie X. He was in a group with children and seemed to love their company. Hopefully someone who walked him can post up more info. He looks in good condition.
Baz is a very sweet little dog. I have not walked but have handled him by helping to put him back in his kennel. He is fine to pick up and I would say a very gentle fella. I saw Baz out in the field with his walker and he looks good on the lead. His walker was concerned about his nails and she thought they could be causing him some distress when he was walking on the gravel surface. It would great if his nails could be clipped without causing too much discomfort.
Brian is a lovely dog and has lots of life and personality.!!! He is grand on the lead and gets on well with the other dogs. He has a little whimper, he uses this if he is too far away from his canine friends, he likes to be close to them. He was sitting patiently in his kennel when I went to take him out. He had no collar so had to go looking for one, so he was very very patient. He is a small dog with a petite frame. Gorgeous fella.
Sorry for taking up Boomer’s post space, I am so happy for Kenny. Such fantastic news. Thanks
Well Boomer is very lucky to be fostered by you Belinda, Kenny will be happy to have his company too.
A bit confused with Brian, getting thrown by his youthful looks. Has anyone walked him and does he look as young in the photo, maybe he looks older in reality. Did I see him last weekend? Will have a look for him this weekend. He looks really nice.
