MemberVery sorry to hear about Izzie, She was a beautiful dog. I remember her when she was in the pound and I had a lovely couple of hours with her when I drove her up to Drogheda on her way to rescue. I hope she got the opportunity to enjoy the last few months of her life. I could not open her link so I have not read her story, but thank you for posting it.

MemberGabriella is still in Ashton pound. It would be lovely too see her out and safe soon. Fingers crossed for her. She is a friendly girl with lots of energy and a strong wil. She would do well with someone who knows and understands the breed. She is fine with other dogs. She is a very pretty girl with delicate floppy ears.

MemberGabriella was having a lovely time out in the sunshine. She loves rolling on her back and having her back scratched. She is a real wiggly staffie who has probably been used for breeding. Sad to see her end up in the pound. I hope she finds a way out through a rescue or forever home.

MemberNobody got to take this guy out over the weekend. He is nervous, hopefully the pound staff will be able to work on him and bring him out of his shell during the week.

MemberThis is a sad situation for both the Lady and Ivan. I hope the Lady herself is getting some care and attention. Ivan must be on the way to feeling more comfortable, I think he should be with Liz at this very moment. Thank you Twist for taking the time to post up and explain the situation to us. I see you are still looking for a foster home for Ivan. My situation is not ideal at the moment as I have a lot of work on which includes a longish day tomorrow. If no other offers are available I could offer short term B&B until Ivan gets sorted. I do have a feline companion but if you need me to help out. Kay and Gwen have my phone number. I am free today up until 5pm.

MemberI am sorry to see through no fault of his own, that Rex’s new home did not work out. He is such a beautiful dog and I know from meeting him in the pound months and months ago that you did fantastic work with him. He must be feeling a little strange himself, wondering why he is back but I am sure he is loving it at the same time. He gets lots of love and attention in your house. It is difficult especially when it is time to say goodbye, but even harder now as you will have to go through the process again. Hopefully he will move to his forever home very soon. He is a great dog and deserves to settle.

MemberSorry to hear that Dabs, Brandon’s foster brother has had so much trouble. Hope he recovers from the ordeal soon. You have done great work with Brandon, I am amazed he has not gone off to his forever home yet. Lovely dog, I remember him well from the pound. So glad he is safe happy and warm with you. Thanks.

MemberI arrived up to the pound today but it during one of torrential downpours of rain so I was unable to take this lovely girl out. I did go into her kennel and give her a cuddle. She couldn’t understand why she was not taken out for a walk, Poor girlie.

MemberThere is a minature Yorkie dog missing in Dublin 8. I have a contact number which I called. It is not the owners phone number but the person I spoke to will get in touch with them asap. My only doubt is that the dog they lost is 10 years of age, so possibly not the same dog. The missing dog is called Toby and he went missing on 25th March.
