MemberIt was a pleasure to meet the lovely little Lola today, so no bother taking her to the vets. She is a stunning looking dog with a beautiful gentle nature. Whoever gets to offer this lady a forever home will be very lucky. She loves her foster, she was so happy to get back home to them after her surgery today. They said she has settled in very quickly and gets on great with their own dog.

MemberOne would have to think that this poor dog was shown very little affection. When you kneel down beside a dog, they normally come to you for the cuddles and some can even knock you over with their exuberance. This does not happen with Rex, he really is not so sure about what to do. He seemed to enjoy the chin rubs I gave him. This fella seems to like other dogs, he wags his tail when he approaches, otherwise its down. He really does not like going back in or even towards the pound and he will pull as far out from the door as possible when passing. He is a gentle fella, I had to lift him back in and he was ok. He has the sadest way about him.

MemberWell little Mitch has gone to a great foster home. He is probably wondering what’s going on. He left his home, stayed with me for one night and now another new place. He is a lovely fella, he really does love people. He kept jumping up on my lap for cuddles. Thanks Mark for picking him up earlier than expected and thanks to both of you for kindly fostering him. He was just too much for my cat.

MemberMitch is a lovely friendly little guy, good on the lead. Hope he gets out soon.

MemberThis guy was out and about today, he is much better and getting used to his surroundings. Hard to believe someone would want to give him up.

MemberI wasn’t good at coaxing Rex out, but Jimmy was. He is a very handsome dog, gentle and quite timid looking. Hopefully he will come out of his shell more.

MemberI met Cassie close up today, lovely dog with a very gentle temperament. She seems to get on well with other dogs.

MemberI hope we can coax this lovely dog out soon. When the pound was closing today he was asleep with his pig’s ear treat beside him. It would break your heart, he must have been blotting all the noises out around him.

MemberShe actually looks pretty bad to me in the photos. You can see how infected her eyes are and she looks very very red from her milk teat. Poor girl, she is probably really missing her babies as well. I hope there is an extra happy ending for this girl. Fingers crossed someone can help her.

MemberGracie took a little longer to persuade out of the kennel. Her eyesight is not the best by the look of her eyes, they look very old. She managed a full walk around the field, she is a bit wobbley. I noticed she was crashed out on her cushion later, she must have been tired from the exercise.

MemberSammy is a great little dog. He came out of his kennel with not much persuasion. I was surprised how sprightly he was on his legs and he really seemed to enjoy the walk.
