after talking to the (really really) nice Kathy we think Jay may be a little to big for our circumstance (long story). we are watching the D.I.D forum closely so maybe our forever dog is waiting in the shadows somewhere. we are also checkng irishanimals.ie and other dog rescues, D.S.P.C.A etc while we wait to see if we get full home approval
KeithMemberI really like the sound of jay. Is he almost alsation size? It’s hard to see if he is big or small! Is he ok with dogs he doesn’t know? How is he with visitors and strangers. Just how good is he on lead? Could my 6 yr old niece walk him with me and hold the lead or does he need work? Sorry for all the questions but thanks for answering and for the picture updates
KeithMemberalso how is he in the car?
KeithMemberalso ho does he travel by car?
KeithMemberhow is baker on the lead/ with dogs/with kids and with small animals..he looks like another little gem we may like to meet!
KeithMemberwow what a great guy! I love that he is great with small animals (we live beside a doggie friendly cafe/pet shop/garden centre). if we pass our home test we would love to gove him a visit and see if its love at first sight for all of us!
KeithMemberHi we just had our home check. fingers crossed. any more info on this little lad? how is he on the lead? is he house trained? gets on ok with smaller animals?
KeithMemberHi,..we are having our home check on monday. can you please give as much info as you can about the cat. we MAY be able to help but id have to discuss it with my entire family (including sister etc she might be allergic) and we could only offer a temporary home for a few weeks . this is a very sad situation. if you an give us as much info as you can Ill see what I can do (assuming my family are on bord with the idea). I need her to have an even temperament and tolerate alot of petting. also bear in mind that Ill need instruction with the birth as iv never had any contact with pregnant cats!
