P.S we’ve heard Sheba bark!!!!! But only in her sleep The only noise she makes when awake is a grunting sigh every time she lays down its very funny! But when shes dreaming she gets that little bit more vocal and lets out little barks ever so cute!

What a water baby our Sheba is!

We brought her to Wicklow on Friday to help us with some planting at our mobile home and she was brill! Amazing in the car! She knows it brings her nice places i think! After our planting with we headed to Britis Bay and let her have a good run around before we headed home! Well she nearly dragged mam into the water with her!! A lovely man who was fishing was laughing his head off at us! She had been a bit quite since she came to us but sure we expected it but she certainly came out of her shell once she saw the sea!! She looked like a pup bounding around chasing stones playing fetch and diving into waves! She was proudly trotting around like a horse! It was AMAZING to see! It put the biggest smile on my face

Cant wait to get her back to the sea!

Everyone is still commenting on how beautiful she is! Photos really don’t do her justice! But not only are people commenting on her looks but her personality! She is just so soooo good! You really wouldn’t know she was around shes so quite and mannerly! Wont push open doors or rush ahead of you! Wont jump on the sofa or bed unless we call her up! Doesn’t beg for food! Shes just a real lady! And if you ask he for a kiss she ever so gently gives you her paw and turns her head away shes like a queen "you can kiss my hand" hahahahaha!

Shes coming along more and more each day! Her personality is slowly but surely coming through the more she gets to know us and it really is an amazing one!

Hi Everyone!

Sheeba is now in foster with myself and I could not be happier!! SHES A DREAM DOG!!!

Sheeba is a beaut! Ive never had so many compliments from people about a foster dog! She has that sable coloring that is making her look grey in photos but in person shes a blonde babe with dark low lights

As soon as she arrived she picked up a squeaky ball and happily ran around the house showing it off! This ball is clearly her fav but we have to hide it on her at night time as she will squeak it none stop Don’t worry she gets it back as soon as were all up!

Weve never had a female dog before so all our leads and collars and beds are blue and green and boy colors! And everyone kept commenting on what a lovely boy ‘he’ was and asking how old ‘he’ was and where we got ‘him’ sooooooooooooo… She got herself a lovely baby pick collar and lead It suits her so well!! Hard to get a photo of it tho as its hidden under her fur but every now and then it pops out and looks fab!

Shes a dream dog! Not a bad word to say about her! She eats sleeps plays great! Lays at your feet (snoring at mine as i write this) and doesn’t try jump on the couch or beds! No need to keep any doors closed she so well behaved she welcome everywhere! Pees on command (very handy) Amazing in the car! Very gentle manner too we brought her to the orchard garden centre to get her lovely pink collar and she was not bothered by the people coming over and saying hello or the other animals, just stood by our side and looked around! shes just so calm! We hardly notice shes here she doesn’t charge around the house and we haven’t heard bark yet We also have gerbils and ferrets and shes not bothered by them either no real interest in them which is great!

The boyfriend doesn’t want me to put up photos of her as hes so in love with her! He called up last night at 11pm after being out in college all day and with his friends that evening just to walk her and spend time with her (i stayed in bed )

Awwwe Eric looks like he really enjoyed the beach!!! Couldn’t of got a better forever home in my opinion!! Love the action shot of him and Tara Hopefully they tire each other out for many years to come (maybe stop Tara digging ) and that the peeing in the house was just from too much excitement of yesterday!!

Opti got neutered today and he is so so so sleepy still! He’s acting like a fussy tired baby that wont settle "rub me here, now here, and here now let me walk around but hold me"

Poor pet! He’ll be grand tomorrow after a good sleep!

Sorry I have no pictures to post!! It seems everyone else gets great photos of my foster babies but not me As soon as i get a hold of them tho they will be up!

But for now Ill give you a bit of info about our Opti!!

First on his looks because the pictures do him no justice!
He is beautiful!! About thigh high in size and VERY VERY FLUFFY!! He has the most amazing long hair!!! His fluff makes him look a lot bigger than he is but underneath it all he is medium size! He has teeny tiny fluffy ears! And the most cutest nose!!! Its black and pink markings like a cow pattern!!

Everything seems new to him! Beeps of dishwashers and ovens make him do the head tilt (sooo cute)! We were told he slept out the back at night but we keep him in and there hasn’t been a bother on him! Sleeps right threw without a peep from him or a disaster to wake up to ( except a few stuffingless teddies but sure that’s expected)! Doesn’t mind being out the back if were out or just trying to do something in the house! In fact it seems he sort of relaxes better out there and we often see him sleeping on the decking on his back legs spread in the air looking very happy!

Gets on great with other dogs not sure if he has been socialized much with them as he is cautious at first and lays flat on the ground and scooches forward to say hello, tail wagging, but happily plays once off the lead! His cousin Ruby another collie cross half his size has been teaching him to play fetch! Opti didnt really seem to know what toys where when he came to us and was afraid of tennis balls and teddies but he is slowly learning to play much more! Loves if you throw a stick more so than a ball!

He is BRILL on the lead pulls a bit when first out but after the first 100 meters as soon as he feels tension he looks back at you and the lead relaxes! As hes young I def feel he could improve to just walk beside you no problem!!! Recall is a bit funny …but i think thats because Optimus as a name isnt great for shouting across a green! Ive been using Opti which travels a bit better and he does respond! But whats great is he is constantly looking to see where you are and if your not facing the direction he is traveling he turns and runs/walks/trots straight towards the direction your walking and looking at! Very handy!

Hes a dote and would make the best pet for someone with a bit of time for training!

Bullet points of things i forgot to mention!

Great with kids!!! (One year old -licked his socks, 4 year old – sort of ignored but not in a bad way a great way, 6 year old – wanted cuddles and got them! )
SO SO smart!! Sit, down, stay, learned in half an hour with hand signals and teeny bits of meat as a reward!
Loves his cuddles! will let bury your head is is fur …not that I do that….much … ahem
A bit of a jumper but he is very controlled about it! Can stand on his back legs no bother for 20 seconds perfectly still! So its not to knock you over its more to see what your doing and what smells so good on that counter or in your hand! Again training would sort that no problem and if your calm around him it seems to cut the jumping in half!

Hi everyone!!

Well what a busy week its been! I’m fostering Diesel and Dixie at the moment and what a mad house its been! Never had two puppies at once! they have been nick named monsters! BUT they are sooooooooo so soooo cute!!! Big curly floppy ears and longish fluffy hair! And little black freckles dotted around their faces! Makes up for the hundreds of scraps on our legs and hands from them greeting us every time they see us haha!

As this is Dixies page ill yap about him!

He is the smaller of the two and is more spaniel than lab we all think here! Tiny head body paws which makes his ears look huge! Really dainty so much so every one keeps calling him the girl LOVES his food just as much as diesel but just takes his time with it, he chews food and when he gets treats will bring them somewhere quite and break it up and eat it! I thought i would need to separate them when eating as Diesel would try steal Dixie;s food but Dixie throws him a look that he must know to mean stay away or there will be trouble! But don’t get me wrong we can put our hands in the food bowls and rub them all over both of them while theyre eating and they couldn’t care less so i think its just a brotherly thing!

He is the shyer of the two eager to explore and bark and bite anything and everything as well but just lets Diesel go first and will follow close behind!

Loves his belly rubbed and ears and faced being squished and he really enjoys a cuddle, a proper pick me up and smother me cuddle, flops right into it!

Toilet training has been amazing! He just gets it! And if were not there to open the door he goes on the news paper!

Been hard to get photos of them separately but ill put up what I have!

He is the bigger of the two and has def got a lot of lab in him, he is VERY noticeably the bigger of the two! Bigger head body paws! LOVES his food will mill it down in seconds and the same with treats they don’t last long and often tries to steal Dixie’s!

He is the braver of the two eager to explore and bark and bite anything and everything! Today it was the shredder!

Loves his belly rubbed and ears and faced being squished and really enjoys a cuddle too, a proper pick me up and smother me cuddle, flops right into it! Also if you stand still for a moment he likes to curl up on your feet for a snooze!

Toilet training has been amazing! He just gets it! And if were not there to open the door he goes on the news paper!

Just a few more pics of sam!

Weve been bringing him to marley park for some doggy time and he is just amazing with every dog he meets! He has a real thing for the smallies though! He loves it and its the best way to tire him out (and me ) it makes him very settled then for the rest of the day!

And him snoozing on the sofa with us late one night! By the end of the night we were squish at either end of it while he had the majority in the middle!

I got a new pair of walking/snow boots today for walking sambo; so i was trying them on and hes sitting there looking at me so i ask him as ya do " what do you think?" and he dips his head and gives them a good aul stare! hahaha thought id ask him again as the face he gave was just hilarious and he gives them another good stare! So i guess sambo thinks hes a bit of a fashionista!
