This little lady went to Galway today (thanks to Trinity) She will share her new home with Baxter and 2 cats It is great to see two D.I.D. doggies going to the same fantastic family Looking forward to loads of updates

Hi Marie,
All the doggies are doing well. Had over 2 feet of snow since last Saturday and they’re all loving it.
Could not get to the woods yesterday because the snow was too bad. Tried again late today and got there ok, but it was a bit too deep to go very far. They all loved it, but I was struggling!
Dean just loves ploughing through the snow.
In normal weather Dean has the most amazing way of negotiating anything. The forestry commision have cut down loads of trees in the last year. When Dean decides to go full pelt across the lumpy bumpy ground with tree stumps everywhere, I just cannot look. I keep thinking he’ll trip up and go head over heels, but he just seems to glide over anything.
Daisy is such a dear and very cuddly. She loves her walks and pretty much does her own thing. She has her own agenda and feels as though she must do the rounds and explore every path before we go home. She can disappear for 10 mins at a time, but always comes back in time to come home. She is getting better and now graces us with here presence sometimes up to 3 times on the walk.
Below are a few pictures. Excuse the slob on the couch. Oh yeah, Deany still nicks the odd sock……….he has a fettish for undies and socks!

Hi all in D.I.D,

Just a few line’s to let you know what’s happening with us two,

Jake and I have sent our letter to santa, Ma say’s we are to be good or santa wont bring us anything.

SO WE ARE TRYING TO ONLY PLAY WITH OUR TOY’S BUT BETWEEN US WE GO THROUGH A LOT. Ma say’s we have teeth like pirana’s, and we need industrial strength toys,KONG TOY’S LAST FOR A WHILE BUT WE KEEP LOOSING THEM IN THE SNOW AS WELL. WE LOVE TUG OF WAR TOYS TOO BUT WE GO THROUGH ONE OF THEM A WEEK, THE FILLING ONLY LASTS TWO SECONDS WE HAVE GREAT FUN PULLING OUT THE STUFFING AND FINDING THE NOISE MAKER.

JAKE AND I LOVE THE SNOW AND ARE HAVING A GREAT TIME OUT THE CURRAGH PLANES WITH MA. JAKE IS IN TRAINING WITH MA ON RECALL HE IS DOING WELL SHE PUT’S A FIFTEEN FOOT
TRAINING ROPE ON HIM JUST IN CASE, I KNOW I AM NOT TO BUT WHEN HE IS DOING WELL I CANT HELP IT, I HAVE TO JUMP HIM,
AND HE RUNS AWAY WITH ME AND PLAY’S .WE FORGOT ONE TIME THAT MA WAS THERE AND WE WERE THAT FAST WHEN THE LEAD RAN OUT MA ENDED UP ON THE GROUND IT WAS SO FUNNY. MA GAVE OUT TO US , BUT I SEEN HER SMILE.

JAKE SAY’S I GET HIM INTO TROUBLE A LOT, BUT I CANT HELP IT , I DON’T MEAN TO,

I LOVE WHEN MA HAS HIM ON THE LONG LEAD AND HE IS NOT PULLING ON THE LEAD, I WALK JUST IN FRONT OF HIM OFF LEAD AND HE START’S TO RUN TO PASS ME . I KNOW, I KNOW BUT ITS SO FUNNY, MA PUTS ME ON A SHORTER LEAD NOW WHEN HE DOES THAT, BUT ITS STILL WORTH IT THOUGH.

SOME TIME’S THOUGH JAKE GET’S ME BACK, HE WILL START PLAYING WITH THE STUFF WE ARE NOT TO PLAY WITH, HE GETS ME EXCITED AND WHEN MA COME’S TO SEE WHAT WE ARE UP TO HE DROPS IT, I PICK IT UP ,AND HE RUNS UP TO HER WITH THOES BUTTER WOULDN’T MELT IN HIS MOUTH LOOK’S AND WAGS HIS TAIL.
I KNOW, I KNOW, I DESERVE IT.

IT’S GREAT TO HAVE JAKE TO PLAY WITH, Iam NOT GETTING MUSHY BUT I LOVE THE LITTLE GUY,
WE GO EVERYWHERE TOGETHER AND WHEN MA AN DA GO OUT WE SNUGGLE UP ON THE BED TILL THEY COME BACK, THEN WE ALL SNUGGLE UP ON THE COUCH TOGETHER, JAKE LIKES TO BE NEXT TO MA , I DON’T MIND BUT SOMETIMES HE HAS TO SHARE,
DA’S GOOD CRACK TOO, BUT HE ALWAYS WIN’S TUG OF WAR.

THIS CHRISTMAS THING IS GREAT, WE HAVE A BIG TREE ,WE WANTED TO PEE ON IT BUT MA SAID NO, THERE ARE LOT’S OF STUFF ON IT ,WE WANTED TO PLAY WITH THE BALLS BUT SHE SAID NO TO THAT TOO,

NEXT THING DOWN FROM THE OTHER ROOM COME’S LITTLE SANTA’S THAT DO THINGS, FRIGHTENED THE LIFE OUT OF US,
GETTING USED THEM NOW BUT DON’T LIKE THE SNORING SANTA IN THE CHAIR, WE COULD COME TO BLOWS ME AND HIM AND JAKE. MA SAY’S THAT’S WHAT DA AND US SOUND LIKE WHEN WE ARE ASLEEP.

WE HAVE TO GO NOW ITS SNOWING AGAIN, JAKE SAYS MA HAS STOPPED WORKING SO WE ARE GOING TO MAKE HER TAKE US OUT FOR A WALK BEFORE SHE START’S AGAIN.
NEED TO RE-MARK ALL OUR SPOT’S
PLACES TO GO DOG’S TO SEE YOU KNOW YOUR SELF.

JAKE AND I WANT TO THANK YOU ALL THERE FOR GETTING US OUT OF THAT PLACE WITH ALL THOSE CAGE’S AN SHOWING US THAT WE CAN TRUST PEOPLE AGAIN,JAKE STILL GET’S SCARED WHEN IT GET’S DARK AND WE ARE WALKING NEAR THOSE CAR’S BUT HE IS GETTING BETTER .

YOU SHOWED US WHAT IT’S LIKE TO LIVE WITH PEOPLE AGAIN AND BE ABLE TO PUT OUR TRUST IN THEM AND WHEN WE WERE READY TO TRUST ,YOU FOUND US OUR FOREVER HOME.

SO THANKS’ WE WILL NEVER FORGET WHAT YOU ALL DID FOR US.
AND MA SAY’S HAPPY CHRISTMAS, Ooo ups she just found her sock in our hiding place, GOTA GO
