I rent and there was nothing in agreement regards pets, in fact the letting agency told me the landlord didnt mind. Until he called one nite to fix an appliance and i had my ex foster Annabelle staying while her family were away and he was less than impressed (to be honest i think he scared of dogs).
So my word of warning would be to ask landlord/lady directly. During this economic climate more people are renting with pets and so landlords must be sympathic to this. I can understand if they require carpet cleaning at end of lease, or furniture chewed replaced etc, but i would not allow them to increase the rent as it wont stop them keeping the deposit regardless.

Saw this baby in the vet on sat. The photos dont do justice to her state of malnourishment :( I hope she will put her past behind her and enjoy what life should be like. She is beautiful and can wait to see her fill out and become confident. Be well Coco.

Aw Mary Im so please you finally got your foster wish. And what a special lil man to take in. Im sure Abby will get used to her new admirer soon! His humping is also excitement and will settle itself. Our first foster was a serial humper and even table legs, men , women anything within range- he wasnt fussy. haha.
Will be looking forward to your updates. Jo

I just had Annabelle stay for a week while her family were on holiday and her big bro Ted was in Cork. As i working longer hrs we had her at ‘Doggie- Daycare’ in DogTrainingIreland during week days and well she just adored it.
I have to say i cant believe in 9weeks since i took her -a skinny, under socialised, smelly and nervous wreck just how much she has developed and come on. Her mom Raedi has done an amazing job as well as her big bro Ted! ;)
I am really sad letting her go again as my little shadow for the week was such a good girl. Still snorring and blowing off  very lady like!!But the biggest joy to have. It really makes the hard work worthwhile.
Stay happy and healthy my gorgeous annabelle.
