UNFORTUNATELY THESE TO HANDSOME CHAPS ARE STILL IN THE POUND. THEY CAN BE HOMED OR FOSTERED SEPARATELY. IF ANYONE CAN HELP THEM PLEASE POST HERE.
JennyMemberWonderful photos. Thank you for fostering Mack and giving him a second chance – he was so long in the Pound.
Many thanks and Happy New Year.
JennyMemberAshton Pound is open from 10am. to 12 noon Saturday and Sunday
JennyMemberI,m really hoping Rudy and Reese can be homed together. I had them out for a walk today and they even stay close together when out walking.

JennyMemberThese two really need help. They can be rehomed separately. They both have wonderful temperaments, are very sociable with people and other dogs. They are over their time in the Pound and really need help urgently.
JennyMemberI entirely agree with you Yvonne – I am very bias as I really love Rudy and would take him home if it were not for my two. I feel there is someone out there who will love him and maybe Reece as well as they are such good friends and get on so well together.
JennyMemberRudy may not be the most handsome dog in the Pound but here are some of his attributes:
He has a wonderful temperament, very sociable with other dogs and people, loves being picked up for a cuddle, absolutely excellent on the lead, he waits patiently for his turn to be walked – no barking for attention – he is quiet and calm admist the noise of the Pound.
If you happen to be looking for a small dog or maybe a companion for your present pet look no further than Rudy. Come to Ashton and meet him he will be delighted to see you.
JennyMemberJosie is kind of a golden oldie – about 4/5 years. Josie is the most affectionate dog I have met in a very long time. She is not very big – a little overweight but for all that she has the most wonderful temperament. Loves walks – walks very well on the lead – lies down for tummy rubs. She loves Richardas – and walks around at his heels all day.
Older dogs have such a lot to give – they do settle into their new homes quite quickly – and Josie will be no exception if someone gives her the chance.
Please don’t reject a dog because he/she is a little older – please give them a chance and they will repay you one hundredfold.
JennyMemberI’m so delighted for this girl – thank you Anna for looking after her over Christmas.
JennyMemberSilver is still in Ashton awaiting his forever home. He is a very sociable chap – good with other dogs and people. Loves his walks. He is well name – a most wonderful silvery grey in colour.
JennyMemberThis great little chap is still waiting for his forever or foster home. Rudy needs a lifeline – he has a wonderful temperament- absolutely terrific on the lead – if you can help him please post here.
JennyMemberRuby stayed with Anna (Ashton Pound Staff) over Christmas. Rather than take her back to Pound Anna has decided to foster Ruby short term. As she lives in an apartment Anna is hoping for an offer of a foster home for Ruby as soon as possible.
Ruby is fully housetrained, she does not jump up on furniture, is content to sleep in her bed and does not bark. She quiet and calm and very good on the lead – she will walk off the lead and has very good recall. She is about 6/7 years old, she is a little timid but is coming out of her shell.
If you can offer Ruby a foster home or forever home please post here.
JennyMemberWell done Kim, Kay and Nikki.
I doubt if you, the former "owner" of this little chap would browse this site but if by chance you do – know this. You have my pity because you are morally and spiritully bereft. The very least you could have done was drive the extra 100 yards to the Pound in daylight and surrendered your dog so he would not have experienced such fear and anxiety – he came back to the Pound because he was waiting for you, his "owner" – such loyalty you don’t deserve.
