Dear Sheeba
I might be wrong, it has been known but I am starting to think that many, MANY people are very happy with your decision to adopt your foster family
. You took your time just to make sure they were the right people, clearly they are and you are one very smart dog ![]()
Well, after all the Happy Endings posts and reserved tabs of yesterday, how are you getting along in your foster home? You seem happy in the company of your canine companion and look very relaxed in your foster home ![]()
Another nice story. I hope all the DID dogs find their way to their own special families where they will be loved and cared for.
Poor souls! Your distress knows no bounds. Having to jump over poles in YOUR garden, rake around rock pools on the beach AND having to get your photos taken to share with the riff raff
Hang on, the escape committee is on its way
Happy birthday when it comes, I am sure your slaves will give you both a day to be recorded for the rest of us ![]()
My happiness cannot be measured – it has gone off the measuring happiness scale
Sheeba, very well done, you have landed a fantastic family and family, you have found a treasure
Many congratulations all round
Please keep up the images and up-dates, you have never failed to cheer up my day with the posts. Sheeba, you are a beautiful dog, in body and spirit ![]()
What a following of people you have Angel
Stand to attention Angel’s family – YOU must have thousands of eyes looking at you now
. Angel, long may your happy ending last, you have much to enjoy ![]()
They say dogs live in the moment so as far as Tia is concerned, all is well. She doesn’t know she has a heart problem, she will just be getting on with her life as part of a nice pack. Enjoy your days Tia, no-one knows what each minute will bring to any of us. You are a very important member of the great DID pack ![]()
We will always have the bond that is Nellie, that will never be broken
. She and I have just been out in the garden playing with a rubber ring. She hangs on to that thing like the dickens and LOVES being lifted off the ground. She does a lot of play-growling, it’s so funny. As for home-checking – that is very important. Your report either puts a dog in a home or prevents it ending up in another bad situation. In my humble opinion, I think this is one of the best rescue sites, the work you all do is fantastic and I am so happy to have found DID, keep up the great work and give your best friend, Hailey a big hug from me, she is a lucky dog ![]()
Great up-date Geordie and Hailey is as beautiful as ever but where did two years go???
Your God dog (Nellabi) continues to be in charge of – well – everything really. Like you and Hailey, I am Nellie’s total focus which is all very nice but I feel guilty when I go out and on my return my father tells that the Nells bells lay on the table watching out the window. He thinks she is watching for me but I think she is just on guard duty. Sometimes I take her for a nice long walk on her own and then swap and take Dudley out on his own and that usually causes a bit of a reaction e.g. jumping on and off the table, jumping onto my father’s lap, running to the door etc. She does settle after a while and returns to sitting on the table so she can see out of the window. That said it is good for them to get out by themselves and I can concentrate on them as individuals. Sadly, Dudley couldn’t care less whether I am there or not. He and Nellie continue to get along very well together and its funny to see him trying to encourage Nellie to play. She does indulge him at times but most of the time she looks away from him or lies down and he gets the message. If he picks up a toy she will chase after him and take it off him and he re-appears looking at me with the saddest little face. Sorry to hear about your respiratory problems, you poor soul. Hopefully, one day someone will come up with a cure and you will be off the hook. It was nice to see your name on the site once more
.
What a grand little dog you are Brittany, love hearing about you ![]()
Well, you have gone straight off the top of the cute scale and are flying
I can hardly cope – so many fabulous dogs on the site. My TINY mind is spinning ![]()
Hope you get to whatever level of health you need to enjoy your life. Just look at Velvet ![]()
I love the sleeping image and Timara is planning a change to that garden.
Where will I start digging
Those big paws will make short work of any digging ![]()
Gorgeous and what a change in such a very few days
What a pretty little dog, on safe ground now. Watching you from afar ![]()
Superb, FANTASTIC, great news and going to ‘Shepherd’ people. He will have a great life because he will be in the right hands – and has a ready-made pack of the same breed. I am sssooooooo happy
