LOVE your ears ![]()
Remember the good times, he will always be part of your family. Of course you did everything you could for him but as you don’t know what sort of start he had in life, maybe he was neglected but maybe that was just the path fate marked out for all of you. I hope that you will be able to offer another needy dog a home at some point. You have posted some lovely images of George, a happy boy.
A German Shepherd Tiger!!! A beauty indeed and keeping her family safe. It’s OK, relax your family can take care of themselves and you. Stay happy Tigra Tiger ![]()
Another successful foster story – well, isn’t it? I think it is, well done to all ![]()
Ah, starting to get control of those ears now
Once you get your big teeth through your ears will then be where they should be – straight up. Can’t wait to see you when you are fully grown ![]()
A much nicer image than the first, shows the positive progress she is making. Just look at that concentration and someone’s ears are starting to come up

I bet Sheeba has told Ozzy about her ‘birthday’ ham because he doesn’t look like he could reach the surfaces in the kitchen, so ALL her birthday food is safe from him. Now, those big paws of his – swimming – I think that’s his talent as well as sneaking silently. What a pair, Ozzy as look-out and Sheeba ‘remover of food from kitchen surfaces’ (you have to share and I think about 70-30 would be fair
)
Lovely to see Sheeba and nice that she is joining in (up to a point
) with the fostering. Good girl Sheeba, helping your family care for the handsome and super-smart Ozzy until HIS family finds him. What a star you are ![]()
Please let us in, we are not outdoor dogs and anyway – it’s OUR HOUSE, now, come on

Ah, the beautiful face of the German Shepherd, that breed is difficult to beat (as an all-rounder). He will not let you down and am sure he will re-pay the kindness you are giving him a millions times over. Great up-date after the horrific start to this story, very well done and I know you will keep up the great work. Love his full name, it suits him very well, even the short version suits him. The world needs people like you ![]()
We are certainly supporting ‘the best team’ ![]()
Yipeeeeeeeeeeeeeee – out of the dark and into the light of your very own family. Well done Tack and very well done foster family ![]()
Best wishes to you Jessie and yes, I am a little
(envious, NOT jealous) but very happy for you and your very lucky family
. Look forward to hearing about your future activities ![]()
I couldn’t agree with you more. A lot of the big ‘official’ animal rescues seem more interested in their CEOs travelling first class, staying in nice hotels (some B&Bs are very good indeed) and putting donators’ money towards very nice and well-furnished offices for the staff
They often close their doors on very needy animals because they are full. They are full because their re-homing criteria is so narrow they have great difficulty in placing dogs/animals. I was at Love Pets Show in Edinburgh recently and was asked for sponsorship for a dog by a very large animal charity. When I said I prefer so support smaller (not in dog numbers) charities, I got the dirtiest, darkest look from him and he shook his head. He went on to say "why don’t you support us", I said "no thanks" and carried on my way. I will always support DID, Second Chance (in Fife) and GSD (Scotland) and if I ever win the lottery I will adopt all three ![]()
What great photos and up-dates of your gorgeous and clearly well-cared for dogs
It’s so sad that they had to have such bad starts to their lives but for them, things turned out very sweet indeed ![]()
Getting happier each day I think
I bet that is your very first pillow, well maybe a borrowed pillow but you look like you were born to have one ![]()
