:) How nice to hear about Holly. She obviously wants to be with her people at bed time. I am not in a position to advise as my lot sleep in my room but there are plenty of very experienced people checking this site so I am sure lots of good advice will flood in soon.

:) Just wondered how (Fearless) Pixie behaved during her stitch removal appointment. How far from the vet practice did you have to park? Were you all made to wait in the car park? Is she still in "good voice"? Its this coming Friday (29th) for the Nells bells. I just want to get the surgery over and done with. They would make a great pair you know – or not. Would be interesting to see how they got on. I have wandered into fantasy land again so will stop now.

:( She looks so worried. Is she still in the pound exposed to whatever infections are circulating? I hope she is either re-homed or fostered with one of the fantastic foster families who do such great work. I was so pleased to see Kenny’s very own family have arrived, lucky people, he is a super little dog, I hope the same outcome for you Brianna, sooner rather than later.

:D How lovely to see Kenny playing and having a great time, he is clearly getting back on his feet. Would be a nice little agility dog I think. Happy days for you now Kenny, so happy for you.

:( Thank you for the support regarding Nells spaying Fayres, the date has been put back a week because the vet who will be doing the surgery is not in on the 22nd so its now the 29th. Still hate the thought of it though. So pleased the Fearless Fairy is through her surgery, she is great – isn’t she?

Nellabi enjoying the snow – in reality she is waiting for treats to land. This is my first attempt with photobucket so I hope it works. If it does then I am extremely grateful to jenbear for leading me through the instructions.

:D He looks a million dollars now. I am so happy he is on the mend, can only get better and better. I thought he was a smart dog when I saw his original photos but now I know he IS a very smart little dog. I will be following your path Kenny until your permanent family find you. So happy for you.

:) Wishing you a speedy recovery little one. My equivalent to you is heading down the same road in a couple of weeks so you should be fully ‘mended’ by the time she gets her surgery. I hope you don’t have to wear your Buster collar for too long, especially if its scaring your doggy family members. You are as cute as ever.

 Well, the dreaded day has been arranged. Nells bells will be getting spayed on the 22nd January and Dudley will be in at the same time for his dental. She and I went to the practice last night to get another supply of tablets for Cassie, sadly we discovered that her kidneys and liver are starting to fail. She is doing very well on her tablets and we are hoping that will continue for a long time to come. Needless to say when I was waiting for Cassie’s drugs to be sorted out a man sitting in reception spoke to Nells bells, saying how beautiful she is, he has a terrier, great dogs, she relly is a lovely little dog, where did she come from – A POUND? "Oh, I would have taken her if I saw her in a pound", "wonder why she ended up in a pound, I would take her, she really is beautiful, etc, etc, etc! He was horrified that I had booked her in to be spayed, he said "she would have great pups". I agreed but said that would NOT be happening and she WAS going to be spayed much as I hated the thought of her having to have surgery. So, that is where we are at the moment and we have had a bit more snow!!! I am now totally convinced that Nellabi must have had pups and Robyn is one of them – they are so similar its spooky.

 Nellabi is getting along very well indeed. All mutts are perfect with each other now and she is always first, second, third and fourth in line for any treats. She parades around with a tennis ball in her mouth, will not ‘give’ it but I can take it. Very funny when she has 2 tennis balls, one in the mouth and the other being batted around, she does try to bury them but only when she has 2 balls. Once buried she then digs like mad to find it/them again, all great fun. She was a great hiderence to me yesterday when I was trying to clean the washing machine filter. Had her face in the bit that had water coming out of it which I was trying to catch in a dish, then she paddled around the in the water I was trying to mob up! She pops up on the table at the window if I go out (to try and clear snow). My father said she is like an aircraft taking off. She runs across the floor, up onto the chair, onto the back of the chair and flies across the void between the back of the chair and the table. She then sits perfectly happily looking out of the window. The howling has stopped now, thank goodness. She hates the snow but she is very small and the snow is VERY deep. She has a couple of coats to wear when out and about, wasn’t too sure at first but is OK now. Still greatly admired by all who see/meet her, one woman lost her place in a large queue in Pets at Home to come and speak to her. She will be getting spayed at the end of January beginning of February which I am not looking forward to at all, but I know it has to be done. My Border Terrier needs his teeth cleaned so I will book them in at the same time and they can keep each other company before their anaesthetics. We wll stay in touch and I will get some photos posted on the site soon.

:D Well, I almost choked on my breakfast this morning when I read about Elsie/Pixie (but its really FEARLESS) fighting with the gas fire. I adore her and wish I could offer her a home – if I didn’t work …. I know what you mean about her getting everywhere first, exactly the same as Nellabi. We can all be in the same room, Nells in her bed but by the time I walk to the kitchen – she is in the kitchen, I walk to my bedroom, she is there (on the bed). Sometimes I wonder if she is actually a little spirit dog and can ‘materialise’ in different places in the blink of an eye. She and Fearless sound so alike. I am just glad Pixie/Elsie/FEARLESS is in a great place with great people. I continue to follow her story, just adore her and if I suddenly became wealthy (that means didn’t have to work) I would offer her a home in a flash. Lovely picture of her in the snow in her little coat.

:D Its so nice to see great photographs of Holly starting to find her feet. So what if she is a bit naughty – she is a Jack Russell and they ARE naughty, but very affectionate and great companions. Very happy you have taken her on, good people.

 Pixie is clearly meant to be in charge of the world. Once she finds her way to the Irish Parliament, then the UK Parliament, then, oh yes, the White House. Finally world domination, probably before the end of summer this year. I love hearing about her. Nells bells fell into a snow drift this morning, leapt out of it covered in snow oddly enough. She did look slightly shame-faced and came racing in looking for a bit of reassurance. She is such a sweet little dog. Be good Pixie, look forward to seeing you on the world stage.
