MemberGreat news, hopefully he will be skipping off to a nice new life with his very own family in the next few weeks. I hope the sun will always be shining for you, happy days ahead.

MemberDearest Dewey, there is a circle of well wishes dancing round you, I join that circle and send all good thoughts to you, keep going, we all want you with us.

MemberGoodness, I feel so much better just looking at the photographs, the dog must feel like a million dollars by comparison to how he felt before his hair-cut and that is only the start of it for him.

MemberPerfect, perfect, perfect. The photo of Ellie and Pixie sleeping says it all. You have set up my weekend with that up-date and photos.

MemberHow is Tilly getting along after her surgery and dentistry? ‘Attacked’ at both ends but best to get it all out of the way in one go. How old is she?

MemberSome photos of the ‘Irish branch’ of the family. Cassie’s original blog has gone so have added her to Nellabi’s page. Nells is currently sleeping on a reclining chair, she has both ears inside out! Cassie is sleeping on a bean bag beside the desk. Walked, fed and cosy. Happy girls.

MemberWell done for fostering him, I have great respect for all foster people. I know I couldn’t do it, not that I wouldn’t want to but when it came to a dog going off to its new home I know in my soul I wouldn’t be able to do it. Wimp!!!

MemberGreat to hear about Holly and so very happy she has found her proper family. Fancy Holly having a life that means she ‘goes on holiday’. How fantastic.

MemberWish Sam a very speedy and comfortable recovery from his impending surgery. You will be a much happier boy after tomorrow Sam. If you are a good dog you may not have to wear a lamp shade but if you do it won’t be for long.

MemberA little monkey-monster ready to flourish into a fantastic canine ‘best friend’ for some lucky person or people. It warms my heart to see him in the car with a nice person giving him the support and security he needs. What a scary place a dog pound must be for any dog never mind a puppy-dog. I bet he will be full to overflowing with mischief when he knows he is safe and can start to be what he should be – a PUPPY!

MemberPoor, poor dog, I know my elderly GSD would not cope in any way at all in a dog pound, neither would my Border Terrier, he would be absolutely terrified. I bet Camilla would love a person or people to look after, not in an aggressive way, just the ‘normal’ calm GSD way, you know "these people are my family so just be aware I am here to look after them". Poor girl, I wish I was in a position to help her and hope with all my heart she gets out or fostered very, very soon.

MemberStitches out at lunchtime today. She got a biscuit for being a good dog, then another biscuit for "being a great little dog". There is a man at work who pretty much hates everyone and most things barring his wife, children and garden. He often comes into the office and really, (REALLY) likes Nellabi, he called her soot for the first week she was at work. He said to me (a couple of weeks ago), "if you get hit by a bus can I have Nellie?" That is extremely high praise indeed. He made it clear he didn’t want any of the other dogs, just Nellabi. He would take her if he could, but of course he can’t and as I have no plans to be hit by a bus I very much doubt he will get the opportunity, so will just have to continue to come to the office and visit her, pet her, throw a ball about the office for her. Its all really quite sweet. She is currently cooking herself in front of the fire having inhaled her food. We will stay in touch and I am very happy the ‘spaying bit’ is done and dusted.
