HI everyone, I have been with my foster family for 3 weeks now and mummy says I have settled in very well and that I am a very good girl. It has been a very busy few weeks and I am still getting used to my new surroundings and my foster family. It has been a very busy few weeks and I have been on lots of walks to the park and the beach which I liked very much. The beach is my favourite. For the first few weeks my foster daddy said I had to stay on the lead in case I got lost again but last week they let me off for a short time on the beach with Jeffrey and I was very good and just chased my ball and brought it back to them. It was great fun to run free and my foster mummy said I was so good that I could do it again. Dad says I am getting better on the lead too and not pulling as much. Myself and Jeffrey are getting on a little bit better everyday but think he is still a little unsure of me :? I just want to be his friend and play with him. :)
This week has been a bit upsetting for me. On Tuesday my foster dad had to bring me to the vet for an operation. I did not want him to leave me there but he promised he would come back. Later when he came to pick me up I was quite poorly and in a lot of pain cos they had cut my belly open. It wasn’t a very nice feeling and I had wear a big cone on my head. Because I was so poorly my foster mum and dad brought my bed up to the bedroom so they could mind me. I was still a bit poorly the next day but am feeling a lot better now. Dad brought me back to the vet today to have my stitches checked and they said I was doing well. I just have to go for small walks for next week. :( I miss my big walks but Mummy has promised me a big walk on the beach when I am better. Think I might pretend to be a little bit sick for a bit longer though as mummy and daddys bed is more comfortable than mine, but Sshhh don’t tell them…  I will come back with another update soon but for now its off to bed with me. ;)

Well we have had a very busy week with the gorgeous Bo. She is such a lovely and lively :D girl. She gets so much attention from everyone she meets. She is fine with other dogs. It’s just our Jeffrey still has a bit of an issue with her but he is getting a little better every day. Just a little jealous of her I think as he has been on his own for so long. and she is a lot livelier than him. She is fantastic with children and as mentioned before there is nothing more she likes than a belly rub and to chase after a ball. Jeffrey had a basket full of balls when she came and they are all in bits now. have got her a couple of solid ones which might last a bit longer. She still has not gone up the stairs. She is at her happiest when she is snuggling on the couch with her head on your knee having pets. She is just an all round good natured girl and would make a wonderful loyal family pet. :D

We fostered little Bo on Christmas Eve. She was in the pound after been found straying. Poor little girl. :D She is a little beauty and full of beans and has settled in so well. I reckon she was definately someone’s pet. She is so good natured and affectionate and all she wants is a good belly rub. she just keeps coming up to you and rolling over. She also loves her ball and to play fetch. She was obviously not aloud upstairs in her previous home as she won’t attempt to go up. Quite happy sleeping on her bed or the couch. Our little Jeffrey is not to sure of her yet as she is a real live wire and he is not very active at all. He likes the quiet life. :P Santa came yesterday for both of them and there was great excitement with treats and squeaky toys everywhere. Then after a big walk on the beach where Bo brought me for a walk it was home for a big dinner. We had a houseful and she got on so well with everyone and everyone fell in love with her. She is just so placid. Just back from a walk around the park in the wind and both have had their dinner and now crashed out. It’s been a busy few days for her but she is taking it all in her stride and giving so much love back. Beautiful beautiful girl. :D

Well it is almost 8 months since our gorgeous Jeffrey came to stay with us and it is as if he has been with us forever. He is the most adorable and good natured dog anyone could wish for and we know how lucky we were to have brought him home. :D
He loves to go for long walks on the beach and in the park but is not very partial to the sea. :D
He quite likes his comforts and his food. Hence he is on a little diet at the moment.
He loves to go out in the car with us and quite likes to be co pilot and watching the world go by.
We went to England for a week at New year and Jeffrey came with us to meet his English cousins, :D He was so good on the journey over on the ferry and the long drive down and had a great time with Milo and Finley over there. I think he missed them when we came home. We are hoping to go over again in the summer and bring him with us again. He is quite happy to mind the house when we "go to the shops" :D but its the greeting we get when we come back that would melt your heart. Such uncoditional love . :D All in all our Jeffrey is a treasure we could not be without now and we are looking forward to many more happy years with our gorgeous little man. Thanks so much to Marie and Dogs in Distress for giving us the opportunity to adopt our wonderful Jeffrey :D

Firstly I would like to apologise for the delay in posting but due to crashed internet and stolen phone we have not had much luck lately but all that falls into insignificance after the arrival of the wonderful Jeffrey. He is the best thing that has happened to us in a long time and has just slotted in so well to our family. Cannot believe he has only been with us for couple of months and dont know how we lived our lives without him. He is the most adorable natured dog and every day is a joy with him. He loves his visits to the beach but when he decides he has does not want to go for a walk he can be a very stubborn little man. His lovely bed we bought him is a bit redundant and used for storing his toys as he sleeps with us every night and his favourite place is up behind our pillows. :) We cannot thank Marie and Dogs in Distress enough for giving us the chance to take the wonderful Jeffrey into our family.

What can I say except thank you so much to Marie for helping us to choose our new family member and best buddy. :D We are so lucky to have got the wonderful Jeffrey into our lives. What a wonderful few days we have had with him. He is just giving us so much joy and hopefully he thinks we are returning it. Have never met an animal to show so much love. The new bed we had gotten him is full of toys but his blue cong from Marie is his favourite (while he sleeps on our bed which is quite high so he has to take a run and jump at :) )and has found his favourite position on the back of the couch so he can see out the window and watch the comings and goings. I have had to work for the last 2 days so he has spent the days with Darren. They have become best buddies and have been off for so many walks together. This morning he would not leave me and licked me to pieces before I got up as I think he knew I was going to leave him> :( Our neighbours gave him some rawhide bones when he arrived and he keeps trying to bury them in his bed, the garden and the couch. :D Hope this post will show as typed post on friday and would not let me post. Cannot thank Marie enough for our little treasure and for the advice with Darren Yesterday. All well now and he has had a little treat of fillet steak and some slow roast pork belly which i managed to bring home.
Will try to upload some photos now.
