Hey there Marie!
Its really quite the ‘thing’ alright! I’m stunned to see him with the little kitten & still can’t quite believe it. He’s gotten so much better with Gilson too but, Gilson is 2 years old & still remains a little suspicious of him (as he’ll still chase him in the garden – its like a big game between the two of them).
The kitchen is ‘getting there’ – we almost have a complete ceiling over us now! I know that it’ll all be worth it in the end! (fingers crossed!!)

Hi Julie,
Yes, the Boy has mellowed a lot in the last while alright!
Still runs like the wind and very puppyish too, with a constant grin on his face. He really does love the little kitten and I think, he thinks he’s the same size too as Geno is (just teeny, tiny – soooo cute!). They run around the house like complete lunatics and then take a nice break and a little rest together!! Very, very fascinating to watch – I just looked at them (as they’ve suddenly gone quiet) and both the Boys are on their beds taking a little snooze with Geno napping on George’s bed, right up against his back legs!!!! That kitten has absolutely no fear whatsoever!!

I just HAD to post this photo of Gerry and his little kitten buddy Geno. I came into the room and there were the two of them asleep on Gerry’s bed. Gerry is absolutely fascinated with Geno and likes to be near him all of the time. Gerry and the older cat Gilson can now tolerate to be in the same room together, which is great progress!!

George and Gerry had their baths yesterday & were able to dry off in the beautiful sunshine. Gerry is such a pleasure to wash as he is just SO clean – dirt just doesn’t stick to his fur! George on the other hand – gets filthy very quickly – he was like a snowflake yesterday but, he already has 4 muddy boots today even though its a glorious day! Gerry is quite the model & poses away for his photos – George has something against cameras & disappears inside the house when I take it out, he’s always been that way ever since we got him so, I have to sneak photos of him in a surprise attack!

Sorry that I haven’t updated everyone sooner but, life has just been super hectic the last couple of months. We are really very pleased and proud of our little growing menagerie…..

Well, Gerry has settled into his new home very nicely and we are all almost one big happy family! Gilson (the older cat) and himself don’t quite see ‘eye to eye’ as yet but, things are getting better by the day. We had a new addition in January Geno (a little abandoned kitten) – Gerry likes to lick him (tasting perhaps?!) & is not quite sure what exactly this very fast little black creature is! George and himself are getting along great & are truely brothers now. Gerry likes nothing better than a good run around in the garden, chasing a ball & having a good chew! He also loves some nice long walks in the forest & the weather has been so nice that he’s been able to be outside a lot, sitting in the sun and saying ‘hello’ to the local dogs as they pass by with their owners!!

Oh, he is just such a lovely boy altogether!
He is a dab-hand now at the doggy door which is great. He is just really a tiny little puppy inside a large body! He’s very smart & really inquisitive. He loves nothing better than to be with you at every moment of the day! We just hung a large mirror and he’s getting such fun out of posing in front of it – super cute! He’s getting used to the fact that the cat exists and one of these days that too shall sort itself out – Gilson is not that bothered anymore as he seems to sense that Gerry is really only a pup that he can command (being the king of the castle as, he knows he is!). I’ll take more photos shortly and keep you updated on his progress….

Here is the lovely Boy in his new home!
He has fitted into life here with us very nicely and we are all completely smitten with him! He just loves his new brother George who in turn, just loves him right back!! It has actually been quite hard to get a good photo of them both together as they have been running & playing all the time and the photos turn out blurred from all that movement! We have changed his name slightly to Gerry with a "G" as George & Gerry go together quite nicely! We want to send a sincere thanks to Dave & Julie who are just some of the loveliest and caring people you could meet. I hope that Yazz and Mel are not missing him too much…… Thanks to Audrey & Marie as well – we really are delighted with Gerry and he’s now a part of our family.
