Hi Indianna, according to the vet Elsie is eating well and is showing an interest in all around her. He has changed her meds and hopes that this adjustment will lower her temperature. We hope to have good news tomorrow morning, and can’t wait to have our little pixie Elsie home for the New Year
FidelmafayresMemberPoor babies RIP angels
fayresMemberSusan, to be honest we are calling her Pixie at home but as she was originally posted on the site as Elsie, it would be confusing if we changed her name as people wouldn’t know who they were applying to adopt, Elsie, Ellie, or Pixie
Little Elsie is spending tonight at the vets, she is still feeling under the weather and as she is so tiny they are just keeping an eye on her. Mind you, she was still able to bark and growl at a poor Yorkie in the waiting room this morning ("typical Jack Russell" said the nurse )
The house is empty without her and we’re all looking forward to her return tomorrow .fayresMemberOur little pixie has a tummy bug and has been feeling under the weather today She has been snuggling under the duvet with her daddy and hopefully will be back to her feisty self before long Poor Ellie can’t understand why Elsie doesn’t want to play and keeps coming over to lick her face
fayresMemberfayresMemberOur little pixie Elsie is doing great – seems like she’s been with us for ages she has made herself right at home. She is doing so well, sleeps all night in her cosy crate without a peep and runs out the back to do her business (when she remembers ). She is a great little cuddler and loves nothing better than to cuddle up with Martin on the sofa under a blanket watching tv She is a better watchdog than either of our dogs here and has the cat on her toes
We visited the Wagging Tail yesterday and charmed all and sundry there. Thanks to Auntie Marie for the lovely red coat and to Auntie Liz for doing her nails. Photos to followfayresMemberWell, Elsie didn’t take long to settle in here. She slept all night in her cosy crate in the kitchen and met me with a waggy tail this morning. She is one confident girly – despite her tiny size she has no problem jumping onto the couch and up onto our bed. She and Ellie have been wrestling all day – Ellie can get quite rough playing – well you should see Elsie standing up for herself No messing with this one
Elsie will fit in anywhere – she loves to follow you around wherever you go, and sit and cuddle when she’s tired. She has bags of personality. She loves people and other dogs. She’s not too keen on the cat however so maybe she’d suit a home without a catfayresMemberWell the lovely little Elsie has come to stay with us – she is so tiny, she is half the size of our cat who has been giving her the evil eye from on top of the kitchen cupboard After being told that Elsie is a very vocal little lady who has been yapping for the past week in Ashton, we had a lovely journey home with Elsie quiet as a mouse in the car listening intently while I chatted away. When we arrived home we all headed over to the park for a walk. Elsie is a dream to walk on the lead and trotted along with the pack. Cass & Ellie were a bit wary at first but soon realised that the tiny terror is no threat to them The fearless fairy settled into her crate while we went shopping and there wasn’t a peep out of her according to my son. We’ve had a few little accidents but also a few little trips outside for a pee which have been praised so I’ve no doubt that this clever little madam will soon pick it up. She is mad about all the lads here she is great for jumping up on your lap although she is a wriggler and just can’t sit still while there’s so much going on around her.
fayresMemberPoor Martina & Jimmy, you both must be devastated. You gave Keiko so much love in those last weeks and showed her what it was like to have a loving home and family.
Run free at the bridge Keiko RIPfayresMemberWow well done Sophie, and of course Kathy, Jimmy & Nicole for doing a briliant job . Those photos are really amazing
fayresMemberI met Muffin/ Benson today while out with Cassius & Ellie in Tymon Park. Catherine had Missy and Pal too so we all had a great time . Muffin is a little dote and was flying around with the pack sniffing and chasing. A really friendly little fella, he is so clever, he was the first to sit when he saw me taking the treats out of my pocket . With plenty of encouragement this guy would be a dream to train and an ideal candidate for agility- he has brains to burn and is a really fast learner
fayresMemberRest in Peace little darling – no more suffering. Poor Laura, you gave her so much in her last few weeks- she was the happiest and best loved little girl due to your kindness and caring. Her last photo says it all.
fayresMemberWell said Yvonne It can be hard work but well worth the effort and I’m speaking from experience
fayresMemberPoor Mark, I know what it’s like to lose a much loved pet and friend. Think of all the great times you had together and know that you made his life a great one.
fayresMemberAhhh they look great together and well suited Best of luck to you both with your little ones
