MemberWell our little Elsie is making a remarkable recovery from her surgery
She is due to return to the vets on Saturday to have her stitches out- everything seems to be doing fine. She sees her "lampshade" as merely an extension of herself, it makes a great battering ram when you want to knock on the door to get inside
She positively bounds around the house and garden, happy as larry, chasing Ellie whenever she gets a chance and has endless energy. The two of them are best pals. Martin has christened her "Linford Christie" as she can sprint up the stairs faster than anyone.
This little lady has bags of personality and will keep you entertained with her antics. If you’re looking for a little lively doggy, look no further. You will never be bored.Toilet training is coming along nicely too.

MemberHey Indianna, Nellie will be fine. No need to be worried at all. You’d be amazed how these little doggies bounce back and recover from surgery
Our little Elsie will be returning to the vet to have her stitches out on Saturday and has made a fantastic recovery.

MemberBig day for little Elsie today – poor little baby went to the vet to be neutered and is sitting cuddled up beside me as I type. She is making a great recovery so far, has had a bit of dinner, blundered her way out back for a pee and a poo
Nearly put the heart across me as she galloped up and then down the stairs tripping over her lampshade
Poor Ellie is TERRIFIED of the lampshade and everytime Elsie comes near she nearly has a heart attack and charges off in the opposite direction barking like mad

MemberWow she is fabulous Louisa – you’re doing a great job
Another one for the agility team

MemberElsie is becoming more confident with every day, if that’s possible. She has such a fabulous personality for one so tiny. She fights with the gas fire, barking away at it, and also with her reflection in the oven door
She is everyone’s shadow – the minute you move she’s at your heels following you everywhere, and can sprint up the stairs faster than any of us
She has treats buried all over the house- under the stairs, on the window sill and in her bed
Elsie would make a great addition to any family- would love to have someone to follow around all day and to cuddle up to when she’s tired. She loves everyone, but would probably suit a family with older children (and no cat!)because she is so lively
You have to admit, she is gorgeous isn’t she

MemberWell done Niamh and John. Daphne is absolutely gorgeous and is a lucky girl to have joined your family. I met your beautiful Blue Roan Cocker, Dale when I did your home visit and saw how happy and content he is
May you all have many happy years together

MemberOur little girlie is doing great. She is so confident it’s unbelieveable
She’s at the top of every queue when there are treats being dispensed or when I’m cooking dinner and is not afraid to stand her ground against any of the others. Toilet training is coming along, her tummy is still a little dodgy, so she is on chicken and rice at the moment and loving it
Cough nearly gone too, thankfully.
It was so funny the other night – my sister and her boyfriend visited. Elsie took a fit of barking at Christine’s handbag, and when Phil lit up a cigarette she dived on him yapping away, causing him to ask "does she not want me to smoke?" We wondered if a handbag wielding smoker was somehow involved in Elsie’s pastfayres
MemberHa Ha brilliant photos
Chase looks right at home sprawled on your couch alright. They make a lovely pair, himself and Carrie. Well done Margaret and Robby for giving Chase such a wonderful life

MemberPoor Holly, I know how worrying it is to see them so poorly. Elsie had that same bug from Dec 22 and was in the vets on a drip for nearly a week, but came home to us on Tuesday in great form finally rid of her vomitting and diarrhoea. So fingers crossed for Holly- you’d be amazed how resilient these little doggies are. While she’s on the drip she won’t be dehydrated and they can get her meds into her and you’ll start to see a gradual improvement day by day. Hang in there little Holly

MemberLiz – Nala’s really looking fabulous and it’s all thanks to you, Tony and the girls
What a transformation from the little scared bedraggled pup you rescued a few months ago
Hopefully Nala’s special forever family is out there ready and waiting for this gorgeous girly
. How will you ever let her go?

MemberElsie really is a super little dog with a huge personality. She will follow you around wherever you go and certainly isn’t afraid to voice her opinion (every waking moment
). We just see it as being part of her unique character and don’t mind the constant racket
(she has 2 volumes, loud and extra loud
) Elsie will make a super family dog, she loves to get involved in everything around her, loves playing with our other dogs, and when she’s tired she loves to cuddle up on your lap.
We’re making progress with the toilet training too – she is such a smart little madam

MemberElsie is in great form, she is eating well and weighed in today in the vet’s at 2.7kg. We arrived half an hour early for our appointment but were seen fairly quickly as she proceeded to announce her arrival to all in the waiting room, terrorising the other patients (a great way to skip a queue
)She still has a bad cough but is responding well to her medication and has settled back in with us as if she had never been away
Her favourite place to sit is on our sitting room window sill yapping away at anyone who passes by
. She has such a hilarious personality there is never a dull moment here.
Have a look at my 3 in action- she is convinced she is a Rottie and is afraid of no one

MemberGuess what we got from Santa this year? A foster sister called Elsie
She’s a total pipsqueak and she sure makes a lot of noise. Never shuts up yapping away, a girl can’t get her beauty sleep around here
Seriously though it’s been great this Christmas, there’s loads of frost in the park, and some parts of the lake are frozen over. I quite like a quick refreshing dip in the icy river after a long run with my mam.
A couple of weeks ago I did my Good Citizen Test and passed!!!!! So did my friends Duke, Annie, Izzy, Polly, Murph, Molly, Suzie and Shar. We will be getting our certificates in January. Being a Good Citizen means that we can walk in the park and meet other dogs without fighting, we come back when we are called and we generally do what we are told when we are out and about. It’s easy to be good when you know that you get loads of treats when you’re a good girlSometimes I can be a bit naughty but if I cuddle up to my mam she forgives me

MemberOur little elf Elsie came home today a new woman
. It was great to see her in such feisty form, she caused an absolute riot in the vets on her way out
barking at a poor sick collie, a lab puppy and a yorkie, all miles bigger than her
She wriggled all the way home in my arms, back to her feisty little self. She has a nasty cough but she is back eating like a horse and trotting around after Ellie and Cassius (and is terrorising the cat as I write this
)We’re back to square one with the toilet training I’m afraid – there was no way she was going out in the rain for a pee this evening
But we’ll be back on track in the next few days, no worries. Just great to have her home with us
