There’s really not enough words to describe the beautiful nature and good heart of Purdy (Misty) – she has come on sooo much – she’s great with the kids and the cats – loves going in the car – loves going on walks and I have even had her of lead a few times – she will never go far from us but when we bring our setter she loves running with her – has no problem with other dogs when we are out – yes she’s still a little timid but nothing like at the beginning – i said she’d started to play bark a few weeks ago but our funniest moment was out in the garden last week when she started jumping around and chasing her tail – she has never ever actually played till then – as with any big dog doesn’t take long to tire her out and she is quite happy to lie on the nearest softest object (human or otherwise) and crash out – if she does beware because you won’t move her off you too quickly lol – I really really can’t say enough about her – She won’t be the lucky dog finding her 4ever home – the home who welcomes her will be the lucky ones <3

Ralph is only with us a few days but has settled in so well. He gets on great with our own two dogs and not forgetting our other foster the adorable Purdy (Misty). Has no issues with our cats and loves rubbing noses with them :-) He doesn’t get on the furniture but only because the other dogs usually get there before him give him a few more days…lol and is quite happy lying in front of the fire on his pillow. Very quick to learn and wasn’t long in watching the others when it came to treat time – he’s great with the kids and likes nothing better than being out in the garden running around – haven’t tried him on the lead yet letting him get used to us first at home we’ll take on the big outdoors at the weekend. Hopefully get some good pictures then as well :-)

OMG the beautiful Purdy is with us two weeks and today she actually barked….!!. Was out watching our other three dogs and decided to join in running around and then…. a happy bark from a very happy dog <3 . I can’t imagine and don’t want to what this beautiful lady has gone through but her beautiful spirit comes through. She is great with other dogs, cats and kids but most importantly with patience she still trusts us humans. a dog’s spirit never ceases to amaze me and in two weeks Purdy has come so far. We bring her everywhere to re-socialise her and we are constantly stopped so people can stroke her. A very very special girl xx

My beautiful big baby bear Yogi is going to his forever home today – i am sooooo happy for him. His new family and new playmate are brilliant couldn’t wish for a better home for him BUT am absolutely heartbroken. I know they are only with us for a short time as fosters and we are sending them to their new homes loved, happy and adjusted but there’s always one that tugs at the heart strings and Yogi is mine <3

Ok some more pictures – how low does a dog have to go but if it makes me look cute and cuddly …..! the first one is me letting my little friend use me as a horse for her doll and a lovely pink scarf as the reins and the second one is is my lovely foster mum having some floor time with me and when she went to get up i decided to settle in for a little snooze – don’t be put of by my size i’m not really that big one of my foster buddies is a red setter and i’m the same size height as her but i’m a lot more cuddlier and cuter of course – i don’t need a really big garden but do like a nice walk and love chilling (no i’m not lazy just like to relax a lot :-). As much as i luv my foster mum and foster buddies (and being a part time doll horse..!) i’m so looking forward to meeting my new family so if your out there please give me a chance – big cuddly hugs Yogi..xx

Bruno is everything you’d want in a small dog. not yappy, doesn’t jump up all the time is just a happy little soul who just wants to be as close as he can. he’ll wait till you settle and then hop up and get comfy. House trained will just potter in and out around the house. His bestest buddy at the moment is our other foster Yogi (Bosco) and I don’t know whose minding who – they’re like Mutt and Jeff going round the place lol – but he’s just as happy on his own as with another dog – also very good around our cats. more pictures over the weekend when we get him out and about on the lead. He’s a great all round dog either for a family (young or older children) or as a older person’s companion :-)

Sorry for any confusion but we are calling him Yogi as he is just the most adorable biggest cuddliest softest, daftest bear of a dog :-) He doesn’t seem to have had much time spent on him as doesn’t even know the basic command of sit and will follow me or the kids if we leave the room and as soon as you sit down he’ll plant himself at your feet until last night when he lay across me on the couch lol – does sleep in my room but content to stay on his blanket on the floor. he eats well and is house trained – does have little accidents when we return or greet him but that’s just anxiety and nowhere near as bad. no problems with the kittens will pick them up and carry them round but that’s in his nature and doesn’t hurt them :-) Only have some house photos at moment but will have him in the great outdoors over the weekend and try some swimming ..!! Look at the way he’s staring at my daughter <3
