It’s so true that Libby adopted us! From the first moment I set eyes on her I loved her. The kids have always loved her too! My goodness she put us through our paces I couldn’t even begin to tell you all her antics. But through it all she would look at you with those beautiful eyes! Who could resist. My husband kept saying she better go this week, each week it got less and less and then when we got the call that she may be moving on we were gutted and he said there is no way she could leave. She is part of us now. Libby is totally obsessed with me following me everywhere! Imagine life without her.

I think whoever had her is a disgrace despite her bad start her nature remains intact! Thank you dogs in distress for bringing her to us xxx

Coming in to update as Libby heard she had slipped off the first page, she is definitely ready now to go to her forever home.

She has come on so much in the two months we have had her, I remember in the beginning she was terrified of any noise, the washing machine drove her mental she would sit barking at it. I just realised too that in the beginning she wouldn’t let us pet her, yes she was affectionate but never let her pet her head now she comes at any opportunity licks your hand and let’s you pet her and rub her ears. She no longer cowers away although she had yet another tea towel last week and when I said Libby in a cross voice she actually went and hid behind the curtains poor pet.

She is like my shadow in the house from morning till night. When she sees my eldest daughter coming she grabs her kong for a game if fetch with her.

We will find it hard to part with her but we know wherever she goes she will get the love and attention she now knows she should have!

So just to keep you all updated Libby is having great fun here, so great with my kids. Just thinking though we haven’t encountered a cat yet my girl hates then so we haven’t had one even tip toe across the lawn!
She is loving the garden however my floors are never clean but then that’s life with a dog!

We gave her an old runner to play with as she has the place ripped apart no matter what we give her to chew, she looks so funny running around with it in her mouth. She has a particular affinity to tea towels if we make the mistake of leaving one on the counter at night she will be snuggled up with it in the morning. When she came first she would swipe any knife and put it under her bed. We used to laugh that she was arming herself! She hasn’t done that in ages though she must feel safe.

A great girl but definitely in puppy mode.

Haven’t updated in a while so apologies for that.

Libby is flying along here she will be a great addition to any family. I am not sure how I haven’t stood on her as she will follow me where ever I am and just plonk down at my feet. She is so sweet. She has been neutered now and I have to say it didn’t knock a thing out of her. The house was quiet when she was gone for the day. However my lady is still only tolerating her so I don’t think we can keep her forever but Libby has no problem with our girl and tries at every chance to get her to play.

Here’s a recent pic of her

Libby is continuing to do well. She is now fully house trained. Very playful needs a house where she would have company, is incredibly sweet a lovely natured dog.

Just updating you all in Libby. She has settled incredibly well, us about 90% house trained which is a huge achievement for her as she would do a little wee from nerves. She is not as nervous as she was when she came first. She is so friendly to all. She is fantastic with our kids so gentle. She has even managed to make our old cranky girl play with her.

She loves walks and is great on the lead, she has excellent recall.

She has been so good Santa even stopped here and left some yummy treats for her.

Libby is continuing to thrive, she is just adorable. All she wants is to play, loves the garden. She has tried her best to get my dog to play with her but my grumpy lady isn’t bothered. The kids are having great fun with her. She would need a house where she would have interaction. She gives it back to you in the form of cuddles, lots of cuddles! She will even give the paw.

Libby is settling in very well with us, she is a very sweet dog with a gentle temperament. She is fantastic with my kids and good with our own dog.

She has obviously had a fright because she is still a bit nervous but she is just adorable. First time I heard her bark was at my washing machine today.

She loves walks and walks well on the lead. She is very playful and loves playing fetch.
