We KNEW it, didn’t we Indianna?! Tulip, now there’s a dog who knows where’s she’s going…absolutely Well done all!
dogsruleMemberAh here, Tulip, would you ever let Indianna know how you are doing?! You have your Facebook fans too who want to know what size you’ll be … and they just mean are you medium or large in height … they like you and are seeing if they will be a good fit for your current lifestyle!
dogsruleMemberI met Harry, who came along with his forever dad today to help raise awareness of Dogs in Distress. Harry looked great, he had a shampoo yesterday and he has the most silky coat. He has dazzling white teeth. He is so friendly and makes the perfect DID ambassador.
dogsruleMemberPosted on FB today from Pudge’s forever family
This is Pudge – whom we adopted from DID 3 years ago – Pudge is 3 yrs old this month & very loved (& spoiled!). I just thought I’d share his photo on your website!

This is Max he’s a 14mth old German Shepherd. I seen an appeal on this group Dogs in Distress last week he’s the last dog in the photo album Out and Safe 2013, I contacted Meath Dog pound last weds and collected him that day. Got him home he was great a gentle giant loved his walks got on great with our other dog and young girls, well house trained and on a lead, unfortunately after three days max stopped eating and became a bit depressed we taught he just needed time to settle in too his new surroundings he was still drinking water and showing no signs of discomfort or pain we said we give him til Monday and bring him to the vet. He was no better on Sunday evening so we booked an appointment with the vet but it was too late he died Monday morning, vet said it was most likely Leptospirosis, as can be seen on Max’s appeal information he had no vaccinations at 14mth I find shocking and would urge any one thinking of surrendering / abandoning a dog to please make sure their vaccinations are up to date to give them a fighting chance of surviving the battle they are about to face or try harder to love and care for your dogs, it was a very heartbreaking experience for all my family.R.I.P. Max hoped you felt loved in your last few days.

Hi Kathy, just a little update about Layla (Zuri).
She is growing very fast, getting taller and longer by the day. She is full of life and mischeif. The back garden is like a mud bath and there are big holes everywhere. The only things she hasn’t chewed are the ceramic plant pots, everything else is broken and eaten She lost all her puppy teeth over christmas and has now got all her adult teeth which she has tested out on the legs of the table and chairs, hall table and the carpet on the stairs and at least 3 new dog beds but we love her and when she looks at us with the doleful eyes we find it hard to be cross with her She loves to sit on the arm of the chair and look out the window and when she’s finished having a nose at the neighbours she curls up in a ball (like a cat) and has a snooze or sits in front of the fire getting a heat ! As I’m typing this she is sitting in front of me barking at me because I won’t et her sit on my lap on top of the laptop, she’s crazy ! As you know she is going in on Wednesday to be neutered so I have no doubt she will return with a cone as she is bound to chew the stitches if she doesn’t. I will up date you on how that goes during the week. We love her to bits and can’t imagine life without her so thank you for rescueing her in the first place xx

Zuri_FB_25Feb13_2.jpgdogsruleMemberLovely pics Indianna. The pair of doggies look very moody rockstar in their photo on the hill. The bag of food was worth the additional photo . The doggies look very healthy and content.
dogsruleMemberThe proud mammy there! Yes please to the photos of rosette, dogs Nellie & Dudley…and the bag of food too if you like . I’m always reading your posts Indianna. I was wondering who your dog is…sounds like a super combo of the two dogs getting on and slotting in together.
dogsruleMemberI’m so sorry to hear poor Rusty’s back legs are at him. I’d say the cold weather isn’t helping much either. I hope he feels better soon. It does sound bad that it’s both legs. My dog’s got one better leg, the one that had the knee replacement (opposite one to the hip replacement) is surprisingly sturdy, but does have substantial one thickening at the knee joint. I’ll be thinking of Rusty, he’s a lovely chap.
dogsruleMemberSorry to hear about your poor Katie
I have to say looking at the photos of Toby relaxing on the picnic table does my heart good, considering that he used to have a balcony alone. I hope the hamster issue got resolved. My Brandon has no patience for small – large furries, yeap, any of the animals really. With time, biscuits, u-turns, stepping out on the road, training classes, behavioural assessment…he’s pretty much..unchanged..but we love him just as he is

You should write professionally, there’s an epic in there!
