Come on Sandra you are only joking you just took out their Duracell batteries ;)
Delighted to hear they are still in love.
Buttons is very good at gardening but only the part that requires digging :)
You are dead right she is the sweetest, most affectionate and loving little girl………she just melts in your arms.
Its so much quieter here without little Butts Mc Ginty but I am happy for her getting all the love and attention she deserves.

I will be looking forward to seeing this handsome couple at the fun day. Maybe we should have a competition for the best pair of DID dogs but then I would be biased. ;)

Fab video Sineadh and Nick well done he looks so happy, contented and a major part of the family.
Its hard to believe it a year since Gina and Dave phoned me one morning to say they had found him.
I sent them an email to tell them about his video.

The cat is fantastic he/she must think they are a dog, the photo of the cat kissing the face of the Setter pup……..its magic.

I did not know that we had a singer in our midst. That one of them both singing deserves to be in a caption competition.
Make sure you bring him to the fun day as I would love to see him now all grown up.

Well done Bruce you got your paws firmly planted in the camper van just making sure they dont go without you.
You have grown into a very handsom boy and still as lovable and sweet as ever.
Whoever lost you and did not look for you missed out on so much but I think you are much better off where you are……..singing, mud baths, camper outings, puppy entertainer, cat trainer and two parents who love you lots.
See you soon surf dude

I had the pleasure of meeting this little man and I have to say he is as adorable as his photo. He is a very lovable cuddle monster.
While he was here he was totally unfazed with all the dogs here and ran around the garden playing chase.
He will make a great family pet. :)

Is’nt it great to go to bed at night and know you have made a difference.
Maybe you dont even realise it but every little bit helps.
The sad, scared, malnourished, terrified, matted, injured, pregnant, worms, sick tummy…………………etc….etc.
We have all seen it on this site, time and time again.
Thank you to all the people who step up to the plate and help in whatever way they can at the time…….KNOW THAT YOU DO MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
Shame on lots of people who look and read and say they cant do anything. They dont know what they are missing out on.
The chance in life to help …a little person, make them feel warm, fed and safe. The satisfaction in knowing you made a difference to a life.

Also lots of people have made new friends and lots of doggies have met up on walks and become friends with past DID dogs.
Dogs really do bring people together…………and in a good way :D

Just be careful a lot of the crates are very flimsy and have very little support structure.
I have found the Argos ones are too weak and dont last.

We need some new photos and updates on this cute little man…….

This is really important for the dog.
He is really a fab boy and deserves a second chance.

777 views and no home for this little person.
I dont get it, lots of updates and loads of info ………what do people want………….I can’t understand this at all.
Small dog etc….. when we have no small dogs everyone wants one and when we have them nobody wants them.

Ahhhh…..Jesus Audrey I am nearly crying now for Rossie and Tess.
What fantastic foster parents they were…….and of course you tooooo.
    but that last photo……just fantastic.
This sums up what fostering is all about, so many people say they could not cope with it etc…. but yet we really need to look at how the dogs cope with this situation.
Dogs sorted and settled in their home and then all of a sudden new recruits arrive with possibly no social skills and scared.
They hold back and are cautious at first but it only takes minutes for it all to be sorted….usually.
The dogs in the home sort them out, teach them how to be a dog, how to play, to interact, share, play, trust humans, get cuddled, not be afraid, sit, toilet outside……….so much education in dog speak………….its fantastic.
As humans it would take us forever but the other dogs get it sorted rapid.
Well done to all the Canine fosterers and to their owners for having them so well adjusted. :)

Great news for this adorable pair……….at last they are getting the home they needed. Unfortunatley sometimes it takes time and a few hiccups and it does not help when people are not honest, but we get there in the end, at least we are always there for the dogs if anything goes wrong.
Hopefully this is their forever home where they will be loved and appreciated which is all they deserve. :D
Best of luck guys and have a long and happy life where you are loved and I am sure will give back ten fold. :D

Little Molly went off today to her new home I was sad and happy at the same time. :(
She has come on so much in the time she was here.
The first evening when she came she was so scared and did not want to even look at another dog but fair play to Butts Mc Ginty she got that one sorted in no time.
Its so great to see them progress but hard to hand them on to someone else and trust that they will be happy and progress.

Molly has a new sister called Daisy who is a really sweet Spaniel x and got on great on their meet and greet. :)
I am sure she will be very happy and I look forward to some photos.
So far today they have played for ages and got on really well.
She is going to get lots of cuddles which she will love and I am sure she will settle very quickly once she is loved as this was something before she came to us she was sadly missing out on.
Best of luck little girl I will be keeping tabs on you as you are not far away but I am sure Daisy will make you feel at home, our kitchen is really quiet tonight as I have NEVER had as little as six dogs…..really strange.

I just found out a bit about this little man and its no wonder he was confused in the pound.
His owner was an elderly man who was taken into care so could no longer look after him.
He was taken by car to the pound so a car would have had sad memories for him.
He was loved and looked after as well as the man could do at the time.As the man was elderly he would not have been in a position to give him all he needed growing up so he has missed out somewhat, but at least he did not have a bad experience of humans.
I am sure Zucco is grieving in his own little way but hopefully all the new experiences in his great foster home will help him to move on and start a new page in his young life.
Thank you Lydia for giving him this opportunity and chance, again this is why fostering instead of a kennel situation is so important.
He could never have moved on in a kennel environment.

Zucco you look great after your makeover, I know lots of people are interested in adopting you, but dont worry DID will make sure you get the best possible home that suits you.
