    I love that……….
Issy when she is good and………Isabelle when she is not.
    That’s exactly what I would say. :D

Great to hear she is settling in so well and most importantly loved and adored.
You need to tell her she still may be a bit young for facebook ;)

The updates and photos are much appreciated and needed after all the effort that our foster familys put into these orphans to give them the new start they need.
It’s great to see how they are doing and what they look like as they grow up.
I wish more family’s would appreciate just how important this is for all of us.

I am in the sitting room with all these small people and I am warning them if they eat my computer cable they won’t be getting homes :D
    They don’t seem bothered.
Kealans slippers, lego etc etc seem fair game, it’s a great incentive to get him to tidy up.

I got them a treat ball today that works on batteries and moves around on its own………….they were not afraid at all and had great fun chasing it around.
I am hoping to wear them out tonight in the interest of delaying the dawn chorous :D

These little girls were seven weeks old on Thursday.
We only got them on Wednesday.
Their mum is a pure bred Scottie and Dad is a pure bred Westie………… so these little offspring are know as Westiecotts.

They are getting on well but were never wormed, so at the moment we are busy removing unwanted guests.
They are 100% terrier so no shortage of attitude. :D
They also think we should be up at 6.00am 8-) so I am trying to adjust their body clock to a little closer to mine.
Will try to get some photos soon.

This is one cute little man…………why has he no home?
Jack Russell’s are not all nippy and difficult.
This little boy is a happy little chap and well adjusted.
All dogs or puppies need to be considered as individuals and not as a block description.
If you are looking for a small dog with personality have a look at this little man ;)

Tom have you tried giving her a stuffed Kong last thing at night when you are going to bed.
She is missing you so you need to address this sooner rather than later.
She needs to understand its bed time and that you will still be there in the morning.
If you have an old T shirt or something with your scent on it for her to have in her bed is also a good idea, it’s just a comfort and reassurance thing.
If you give her the Kong she will associate bed time with something pleasant and a treat instead of feeling you have all vanished and she is worrying and taking it out on the skirting boards.

This can be fixed, even though you say you don’t mind, for her it would be best to stop her anxiety.
Let me know if you need any help.
Delighted to see she is so loved and enjoyed :)

No need to worry he will never forget who loves him no matter how long you are away.
You have to look after the human side of your family and I am sure Bax and Hallie would not expect any less and certainly won’t love you any less.
There will be major antics when you return……I can’t imagine the welcome.
I am sure you have been visiting a few pet shops over there. ;)

Poor Buddy loosing his play mate.
Give him a hug and tell him a big thank you from DID for minding Kelly so well.
I fell so sorry for them in this situation as there is no explaining where their friend has disappeared to :?
Sorry Buddy but maybe you will help another girlfriend.

It never ceases to amaze me just how much the existing dogs do to teach these new inmates how to be a dog again, how to trust, love, play and be part of a family maybe for the first time.
They really are all stars and are helping their own kind to move on.

I am always reminding all of mine that once upon a time they were in that situation…….mind you they have well forgotten all that.

Three cheers for all the fosterer’s dogs :D

Did a rough check tonight on some of the pics voted for so far and Callie is certainly up near the top.
Only 18 days left to vote……keep voting.
It would be great to see a RESCUE DOG win this and more importantly a DID dog.

    So keep the digits voting.
    Well done Callie :D ………Here’s hoping. ;)

Two is always easier than one ;)
It makes sense that they need their own kind, no different to humans.
It also takes the pressure off humans for constant entertainment, now you can enjoy more and when you have other things to do you don’t need to feel guilty as she has her own friend.
Great news and the best of luck.
Don’t be waiting for the downside as there really isn’t one I promise. :)

Well done Trinity for doing your bit for DID.
They both seemed to have a great play date :)
It’s great to see the dogs just being dogs and having fun.

Just for general information there are always lots of homes in for particular dogs but while they might like the look of the dog or the particular breed that does not mean that it a good home for that dog.
We in DID pride ourselves at matching the right family to the dog and the right dog to the family….. and nothing ever alters that.
The dogs happiness is our priority.

Always remember these animals ended up with us because they were not wanted, we need to ensure that this never happens again.
That is a promise I have always made to any dog that comes into our care and we will do our best to uphold it and not let them down again.
