DID Rescue
KeymasterWow little Jim is really in luck……
a new Mum and a big brother.
He looks so tiny and content all snuggled up.
It makes such a difference when there are other dogs, settling in is so much easier for everyone.
Best of luck with the latest addition
Is there room for any more???DID Rescue

KeymasterHad the pleasure of meeting this lovable rogue today and his foster brother Benny.
They got new matching collars and leads and looked very smart boys.
Now Benny and Socks keep out of the muck even for a few days
Socks is an ideal family dog for an active home and one that appreciates the Collie intelligence and loyalty that is their trademark.DID Rescue
KeymasterThank you for the photos we were all dying to see the new little man.
I am sure he feels great
This is probably the first time he has been cared for
Hopefully it’s all positive for him from now on.DID Rescue
KeymasterJeffrey met his new parents last night so he will be changing address shortly.
The only time I get an easy foster dog and he gets homed immediately.
He is the best little man in the world and I will miss his busy little attitude.DID Rescue
KeymasterGreat photo of the three of them asleep
That what having a dog as part of the family is all about……just another child
Great to hear you are settling in so well Miss Lexie and thanks for the update.DID Rescue
KeymasterNow known as Jeffrey to my friends
This is the best little man in Ireland. He is so good on the lead you could walk him with one finger. He trotted all around Fairyhouse Racecourse this morning which was a good hour for short little legs.
He is great off lead. Loves going in the jeep and a very good traveller. He loves being involved in everything, he would not be happy being left to his own devices for long periods as he would be lonely.
He has not been used to toys but he has made a start.
He runs after the ball and on arrival looks back at you and then comes galloping back without it.
He has started emptying the toy box and carrying them up on the beds. This little fellow has a great personality and sooo good I could not fault him.
At last I got an easy foster dog
Whoever gets to live with this boy will be very lucky.DID Rescue
KeymasterWell Jeff is a great little man.
When he came on Friday he was totally shut down and was like that for most of the weekend.
Then Sunday evening he decided he was coming in the jeep to bring Milo to his new home.
He is a good traveller, good on a lead, great with dogs both male and female big and small.
Well able to jump up on the couch and on my bed.
He is fine with children older ones anyway.I am sure we will see more of his personality as the week progresses.
Jeff cannot go for a walk at the moment as he has a cut on his shoulder which has five stitches so movement is causing it to weep.
That is why he is sporting a teeshirt to prevent him scratching it.DID Rescue
KeymasterFantastic photos on the slide you can imagine Tom saying " just watch me and do exactly what I do and You will be fine"
He looks really happy and settled already which is what you love to see.DID Rescue
KeymasterRaffi is coming back to me for two weeks of his holidays so that should be fun.
Milo will love it to have someone his own age.
I am looking forward to seeing him
This fellow could be another Pudsey lookalike.DID Rescue
KeymasterSorry for not posting sooner but one of my own dogs has been very ill.
Anyway as you can see from the photos Milo is progressing well from the scared and timid dog I collected.
I think each week the photos speak for themselves.
He now has been wormed, chipped and neutered.
He is now walking forward on a lead and stopped all the zig zagging and stopping dead.
He is now good off the lead and comes back when called. He will now let you pet him where as at first he would come to within a foot of you and then run away,
He is still wary of strangers but his ball obsession has helped with this.
He can still be a little hand shy.He is 95% housetrained and clean overnight. He is a great grubber and loves everything and anything.
He is great with children and would play ball all day.He is great with other dogs male and female, big and small.
He loves getting brushed now.
He would be a fantastic second dog. The reason for this is to keep the energy under control and give him something to do as he is so young.
He is a good looking boy and he needs a home where he will continue to be brought on and thrive.DID Rescue
KeymasterAh Lucy now four male admirers
He couldn’t have wished for a better home.
They all look great together and bless Charlie still involved, he is really amazing
CongratsDID Rescue
KeymasterWhat a fantastic photo.
How did they all manage to be laid out in such an orderly manner
Very good. Well done boys and girls.
Spot the foster dogDID Rescue
KeymasterWow they look like a good fit on that bed, not crushed or squeezed
I had to get these beds last year when I moved as the fabric beds were sweating on the laminate floors, and I was blaming all the male dogs for lifting their legs…………..not guilty
Because these beds are slightly raised dogs avoid draughts.
It’s surprising how draughty it is low down.
These beds are excellent in terms of low maintenance and the dogs love them. Also they tend not to destroy or shred them……..useful in some cases.
Very important for these type of beds is lack of movement when the dog gets on board. It seems if they move initally dogs loose confidence and then wont use them.
Enjoy Rufus and Blondie. -
