    Congratulations all round :)
    Delighted for both of you.
I met Cassie the day she was leaving the pound to go into foster and I thought she was a sweet, loving, gentle girl who would do anything to please.
Judging by the state of her coat that day she certainly was not looked after.
Enjoy the Highlands of Scotland I am sure you will pass off as a native very soon ;)

A big Thank you to Linda in K9 clips outside Ashbourne who fitted this poor girl in at no notice and did not charge just to ensure she could feel more comfortable.
It’s such a great help when people who can help do as every little bit helps and adds up to the bigger picture. :)

Jeepers Richard no wonder he is tired !! are you in training for the marathon :)
I feel tired just reading the agenda :P
Those short little legs don’t know what has happened :o
The little Jacker rolling on his back was just to say he was no threat in dog speak, this lets the other dog know immediately that they are friendly by putting themselves in a vunerable submissive position.

This is one fab girl all she wants to do is lick and cuddle you.
She is very young and to date has not known what it is like to be loved, belong or be part of a family.
    She is so pretty ;)

Exactly how I felt the other day as she was leaving the pound…………give me a brush….quick.
It drives me mad when it would only take a few mins a week but I suppose when we are dealing with dogs coming in with skin infections, eye infections, emaciated, scared a brush is the least of their worries….so sad

This is well worth doing for every dog owner who is interested in being able to recognise and help their dog overcome issues.
The best part is that you can incorporate it into your everyday routine,
you don’t need any special equipment and the dogs adore it and show the results very quickly.
So go on give both you and your dog a real long lasting treat. :P
Several people from DID have done this course and all really borh enjoyed and benefited from it.

Walking without a lead is part of when you have bonded with the dog and they feel confident with you and trust you.
They may do it with their foster Mum but once you are the responsible person you have to earn your own stripes………it may not transfer as it is based on trust.
