MemberOur little princess, Duchess, met a lovely family today and they fell in love with her – not that I blame them!!! She is the sweetest, most adorable puppy ever and I am stocking up on the tissues for when she goes off to her new life. Joan and family are getting the best dog ever and I wish them all the very best.

MemberWell Dani met her new mammy, Paula, today and she will be off to her new "happy ever after" next weekend! This little lady has grown up hugely since she came to join our gang and I am delighted she has found her forever person. We will miss her terribly but it is time for her to move on. Best of luck, my little princess.

MemberI have been a "failed fosterer" three times over so we really must let Duchess go! She has definitely stolen the hearts of everyone here so whoever gets her will have to be someone really special. She is an amazing pup so whoever gets her will be incredibly lucky.

MemberCarol, you just HAVE to win fosterer of the month for September!! You must be so proud and happy to have brought these babies so far. I will be thinking of both you and Kathy tomorrow. A good stiff drink – and the aforementioned chocolate – will help. Really, really well done.

MemberThis little one continues to go from strength to strength. She is becoming much more independant ( although she still needs cuddles and reassurance especially when the rest here get noisy and rough ). She has started to join in with the play to a certain extent – she barks and runs around the edge of the circle of manic canine play
. She has started to tease the bigger ones as well – she jumps and barks at them, begging them to chase her, and then – very intelligently, I might add – disappears into a corner that is too tight for them.
She is slowly getting a handle on the toilet training but its a work in progress to be honest!!!
Dani is a total little sweetheart, a stunning looking little dog with personality in SPADES!!!!

MemberIt is with great joy and pride that I can report that my little angel has become a little divil!! She is still incredibly sweet but her new achievements include pinning Dani to the ground ( a feat never before attempted ), chewing a stocking (while it is still on a foot ), getting very acquainted with a low-lying sleeve on the line of washing and running away to hide with a toy she robbed from one of the biggies!! It does my heart good to see her being a typical pup as opposed to the painfully shy, timid, pot-bellied little creature she was when she came last Thursday. Don’t know if the hubby will ever let her go!!!

MemberThis little angel is thriving! She has become really playful and is becoming quite an independant young lady. She shakes the hell out of every tug toy in the house and challenges all comers to take it from her, she has found out how much fun you can have with a ball and when she robs something she shouldn’t have, she takes off into the tightest corner where no one – canine or human – can reclaim it. And at the end of another exhausting game of "shake the toy and keep it from Casper", she crawls into bed for a well-earned rest. This lady is a stunning beauty with a personality to match. I know she will be snapped up!

MemberDuchess is the HAPPIEST dog I have ever met!!She bounds over on her little crooked legs to greet everyone who comes in. She adores the dogs but doesn’t like rough play too much – don’t blame her!!!
She is an absolute sweetheart and has stolen the hearts of all the Colgans especially her foster daddy Niall (whom she idolises too, incidentally). A few photos of her on the way

MemberOh Katie
He looks so happy and I am thrilled he has settled so well for you. We really miss him here but the 2 little girls are keeping me nice and busy!!
Good luck in the future, Little man.ColganFamily
MemberJust an update on our new little princess. She is an absolute pet who loves to cuddle up on your lap. Had a little check over at the vets and she is in general good health apart from a tummy full of worms (which we are treating) and several weeks of poor diet. She is playing here on the floor beside me with Dani who is thrilled to have someone her own size to boss! Duchess is a lot more timid than Dani, though. She is also a little older than we thought – maybe 10 or 11 weeks, but still a baby. Looking forward to building up her reserves – and clearing out her tummy!!!! – over the next few days. Will keep you posted.
