MemberWell Gizmo had his first outing this morning up in snow filled Tymon Park and he LOVED IT!!! Must be the husky in him
He looked like he wouldn’t be out of place pulling a little sled behind him.
He ran along with the others, ate the snow (just like the others!), got involved in the tag game and had a ball. He is a fabulous little guy. He is comatose here on the couch snuggled up with Mollie – I reckon this morning is worth a few hours peace and quiet
I was raging I didn’t have the camera with me today but I will try for some more pics asap.

MemberOur darling little Faye left for her new life this morning without a backward glance at her tearful foster mammy!!!
She trotted out through the snow with Aedamar sporting a gorgeous new pink collar and matching lead. She is going to have a great life with Aedamar, Nick, Rocky and Coco and we are all so happy for her (even though we will miss her like crazy). Best of luck, my little angel and be happy

MemberI am SO happy that this beautiful dog has found his forever home
I have followed his thread all the way and no-one deserves a "happy ending" more than Baxter. The news has made my day!

MemberWell our handsome little (and getting bigger by the day!!!
) man was vaxed and microchipped today and he HOWLED!!! I have never met a dog more keen to talk than Giz. We have full conversations with him here and he adopts different little tones of voice depending on the conversation! if we give out or use a harsh tone, he gives out right back; if we talk softly and sweetly to him, he whimpers in response and he GAVE OUT BLUE MURDER to Kim today when she had the audacity to chip him
he is an absolute riot and will be such an endearing, intelligent, loyal addition to any family lucky enough to home him

MemberWell Faye was vaxed and microchipped today and will be on her way on Saturday, please God.
We will really miss her here cos she is a total sweetheart who loves nothing more than curling up on a lap in the warm sitting room
I know she will have a great "happy ever after" with Aedamar and Nick – and Coco and Rocky! All the best, my little angel

MemberWell Faye had a lovely visit yesterday from Aedamar who has decided she wants to give Faye her forever home
Faye will have a new big sister, Coco and a new big brother, Rocky in her new home so she is a lucky lady! The dogs met yesterday too and got on great so
Faye will be heading off at the end of the week.

MemberAbsolutely!! Our big baby Sam ( dobermann x, we reckon ) used to give back cheek too when he was younger and he is a very bright and very loyal dog. So I reckon its a sign of a goodie!
Sam is also very gentle and if Gizmo is like that also, it bodes very well for a great adult dog!

MemberBy the way, I meant to add something really funny about this little man, something we have noticed in the last couple of days – he GIVES BACK CHEEK!!!
If we give out to him and say "NO" in a firm voice, he plants his feet very firmly on the floor (just like stamping his foot ) and barks back at us!!
Every NO is responded to with a yap – it is so funny to watch. And he looks like butter wouldn’t melt . . . .

MemberThis little guy continues to delight all the Colgan clan – human and canine!
Himself and Faye have become best buddies and sleep curled up together most of the time. Gizmo is quite independent, though. He loves his grub and could piddle for Ireland – some of the time outside now so a tiny bit of progress to be seen. He loves to hear the sound of his own voice and is quite a yapper!!!
Loves to play with Faye and he even engages with the biggies no matter how rough the game – he’s a tough little cookie. He sits for food now, just picked it up from the others – clever little man. Will make a great addition for some lucky family.

MemberFaye certainly is still available and she would be the perfect companion for ANY dog – or indeed any person!!! Just go to the Forms and Downloads section on the website, fill in an adoption form and email it off. Someone from DID will be in touch with you. Good luck

MemberI reckon he is a bit big to merit Indianna catching a plane! She loves the teeny ones and he ain’t teeny, I can assure you!!!
