This little cuddle monster is a scream!!
He has more playfulness and less calm than his sister but he is absolutely adorable. Out of nowhere in the last few days, his legs have grown much longer so he is taller than his sister. He is lighter too and I reckon he will be taller than her when he is full grown. He is a stunning looking puppy with a personality to match and yet he is very undemanding once he has Kayla and Kibbles to play with, the odd human to cuddle with, a bowl of food twice a day and loads of tuggy, chewy toys!! She is a total little lady – in fact my husband calls her "his little lady" and the really cute thing is she answers to it!! She is a really sweet tempered, good natured little girl who is playful and calm in equal measure. She has discovered her bark and has different tones to it depending on what she wants The cutest one is the little one that says "Help! I can’t get down off the sofa" and she waits for some good samaritan to rescue her!!! She is a pet. CAM_0381.JPGI am actually lost for words – most unlike me!!!! – when it comes to describing this fantastic little guy.
Everything I have said already still holds true – I can’t say enough good things about him.He had a trip out to my sister’s during the week to see how he was with her children and he was a thorough little gent with everyone from teenagers down to the baby who is 3 He then visited my mam’s where he had a great play with her young little dog. He is a dream in the car. He just snuggles down in the seat while you drive. He has become a little lap dog in the last few days and he is curled up in my lap right now as I type – not the easiest thing as he is quite big (relatively speaking) and weighs 10 kilos!!! I wouldn’t have it any other way though. A DREAM OF A DOG!!!! CAM_0379.JPGKibbles continues to be a fantastic little man. He is becoming more assertive and confident and has found his bark!!!
He warns when anyone comes up the road, when the election leaflets drop in the porch or if he hears anything strange at all, he lets us know. A great watchdog for such a sweetheart. He is totally housetrained, snuggles up with Mollie every night, adores being stroked and cuddled, eats all round him, loves playing with the babies, Kai and Kayla. He is a wonderful little guy. He is more mischievous than his sister and he will chew anything that moves – trouser legs, slippers (with feet still in them), the school skirt has more teeth marks than the chewies!!! He is a little less independent though and will always seek out a body to nap with, usually Kayla but any port in a storm! Toilet training is a work in progress, shall we say but, otherwise, this little man is a real playful, sweet gent. CAM_0377.JPGKayla continues to grow in confidence and playfulness by the day. Saying that, she is a real little lady, independent and self-assured.
She can often be found all on her own in the comfiest available bed with the latest chew toy beside her. We are making slow progress with the toilet training but the weather has been so bad, I am not surprised that none of them want to go out – it is an ordeal even for the biggies!!! She loves her grub, loves her cuddles, loves her wrestling matches with Kai and Kibbles. She is a dote! CAM_0370.JPGJust a little update on this fab little man. Kai is a joy to foster – he is a sweet natured, gentle little guy, full of hugs and kisses!
And what a hugger!!! When you pick him up for a kiss, he plants his paws on your cheeks and almost pulls you in for a hug. He loves to curl up on any available lap for a cuddle and a snooze. He is a bouncer too! If you call him, he bounces over to you just like Bambi and when he reaches you, he stands up on his back legs and does a little dance till you pick him up!! He loves his grub, he is great in the car, he is gentle and affectionate and he has the softest fur imaginable. An all round great guy!! CAM_0344.JPGJust a quick update on this little angel. Kayla is the most adorable, sweet little girl you could wish to meet. She is full of cuddles and kisses for everyone. She likes nothing more than snuggling up in your arms for a nap after a madcap half hour of playing and wrestling with Kai and Kibbles.
She is very well behaved for a collie puppy – they are so intelligent that they are always on the lookout for the next piece of mischief but NOT SO with Kayla. She potters along here with the others and crawls into the nearest available lap or, failing that, bed for a rest. She loves her food, is wonderful in the car, sleeps the whole night without a peep!!! An all round sweetheart. CAM_0349.JPG
