Alfie had two very important visitors last night, one of whom was Kim with the DREADED bag of tricks to vax and chip him!!! He was NOT impressed but his recovery was instant and he is now ready to head off to his new life.
His new family can’t wait to adopt him so it’s onwards and upwards for this special little guy from here on in. Heaven ain’t seen nothing like the storming I plan to do tonight and in the coming days. Stay strong, little lady.
We will all be thinking of you, Velvet, over the next few days and weeks. Keep strong, little girl. Heaven better batten down the hatches!!!!
Well our gorgeous little guy met two lovely people yesterday and they are dying to become Alfie’s new mammy and daddy!
He is going off to a great new life with two laps ALL TO HIMSELF (a novelty to secure even ONE lap in this house) so he will be a very happy man! Alfie is a real character and I know that Brian and Marie are going to have amazing fun with him – there is just something truly unique about the terrier breed. Alfie will be ours to enjoy for another little while at least so we are not totally bereft – yet!!!! CAM_0829.JPGHi there. My name is Alfie and yesterday I found myself in foster in a madhouse!!
It was a bit strange at first but now I am great pals with my 2 foster sisters and 3 foster bros! I am a real sweetheart and I am not chewy or nippy or barky so my foster mam says I am a great little man. I am a small little guy with a beautiful brindle coat – I match Tigra (one of my sisters). I will be wormed, microchipped and have at least my first vaccination before being rehomed. I must be neutered at 6 months old. I LOVE people and ADORE laps so if you are looking for a real cuddle monster then, as the song says, "I’m your man"CAM_0827.JPGThat is EXACTLY what I was thinking, Audrey!

Poor Sprocket. And your poor son too. There is nothing quite like the pain of the loss of a beloved pet. So sorry for you all. So sorry to have missed it. But I DID have a good excuse!! Delighted that it went so well and that is a great amount raised. Well done everyone!
I have followed this little lady from the start and I am SO SORRY to hear she has passed away.
However she had a truly wonderful last few months in the care of amazing fosterers – that love and care is immeasurable! In the midst of all the heartache and sadness, try to focus on that. Thank you all so much for all you did for this special little lady. Really sorry to hear about little Lucy.
Just focus on the great life she had with you – however long or short that was.Wonderful news! Another veterinary (and loving owner cuddly!!!) miracle. So thrilled for little Max and for you all. As Audrey says Max will go from strength to strength now that he is home. When I look at my "death’s door" pair here, it is hard to remember just how sick they really were
But they haven’t looked back since! Great news. I also had the pleasure of meeting this little girl on Friday and she is just beautiful. Audrey is playing a blinder caring for her and Rossi and Tess are doing their bit too.
We are all thinking of her and praying for her here. Well our fab little man went off to his new life this morning without so much as a backward glance at his snivelling foster mammy!!!
The house is SO QUIET without him even with my own 5 and Willow to keep me occupied. I know Vito will have an amazing life with his new family and I wish them all the best of luck. Be happy, my gorgeous little guy.
