How we always manage to get sweet, gentle, angelic little puppies into foster and turn them into demons in 48 hours, I’ll never know!
Just joking! Delighted to report that this little angel – along with her sister – has really come out of her shell and it is a pure joy to watch her playing like a mad yoke around the place.
She has discovered her voice and uses it to great effect on them all here. She LOVES to play, loves her toys, loves her grub and ADORES her sister – it is so cute to see them together. Still a total cuddle monster – no lap is safe – and an all round GREAT girl. She is a pleasure to foster. Anyone who homes this little lady will be getting a real treasure.

He is every bit as handsome as we knew he would be. Great to hear from you, Samuel and to see you looking so well and happy and settled. We still miss you here! I know you!!!
And you are every bit as handsome as I knew you would be. Have a REALLY, REALLY happy ever after, Kramer. Ah, thank you so much, Barbara but the doggie angel is the REAL angel of the piece, I assure you! She is a pure joy to foster.
She trots around here all day, following Asha or Thor or any human who appears on the horizon!
Angel is madly jealous at the minute cos, not only is Asha being given special food (courtesy of a dicky tummy!) But being a little bigger, Asha has mastered the getting up on the sofa which Angel has failed to master yet!!! A place on the sofa is a real sign "you have arrived" in our house!! Won’t be long till Angel can make it though. Angel continues to be gentle and incredibly cuddly. She nuzzles into your neck so the humans here fight for the chance to hold her!

She is suffering a little with typical "puppy tummy diarrhoea" and she STILL makes a trojan effort to go outside to do her business.
She is the envy of the pack at the minute because of her baby rice diet – she eats with an audience of admirers who aren’t too sure how to qualify for this particular treat!!!
The humans among us are just glad it IS only Asha who qualifies!Asha is an unbelievably gentle and undemanding little baby – she is like a cuddly teddy bear. A couple of new pictures – one on her own and one with her devoted little sis, Angel.

Colgan humans plus Sam, Tigra, Mollie, Casper, Thor, Asha and Angel!!!! Just a quick text update from Alfie’s new family today:
"Alfie has settled in great and is a super super fellow who just loves kisses, hugs and walks. Could not have wished for better."
And I reckon Alfie couldn’t have wished for better either!!
Happy Birthday, Velvet. What an eventful first year of life for you. But you couldn’t be in better hands now and, with a spirit like yours, you will be celebrating many, many more birthdays, please God!

Vito is a REAL little character alright and I can just see him doing all the things you mentioned. Thrilled for the little man and for all the family. Keep in touch!!! Well our gorgeous little Alfie went off to his new life this morning.
Delighted for him – and for Brian and Marie – but really missing him here! Thor is bereft with his little playmate gone and Alfie made such an impact in the short time we had him that the house seems empty without him ( a bit strange to say with 5 of our own but you know what I mean!!!) I do know Alfie is going to enjoy an incredible new life though and this certainly helps. All the best my fab little man – have a great life!! I was away since yesterday and was dreading asking about Velvet in case the news wasn’t good but SO RELIEVED this evening to hear that there has been even a tiny improvement.
Your visit, Audrey, will have made a huge difference to her recovery and please God she will go from strength to strength now. It is hard to imagine what the poor baby has endured during the past week but she has kept strong in spite of incredible adversity. Everything still crossed for you, Audrey, and for Velvet who does not deserve the awful experience she has had!! All best wishes from us here. Oh Audrey. I totally agree with Indianna – a visit from you could only be a good thing for Velvet so, please God, they may rethink that. I know without a doubt (although the circumstances were very different) that my visiting our really ill fosters was the turning point in their recovery. The assistants in the vets couldn’t believe how responsive the guys were to my voice, let alone seeing me! My heart (so I can just imagine yours) is breaking thinking of poor little Velvet feeling so ill and so lonely.
The storm has become a tempest now!!! Please keep fighting, Velvet.
