    Couldn’t agree more, Indianna. :D

I have been following Nick’s blog from the start and would love to have him (if it was possible to add to my gang which, unfortunately, it is NOT!!!) I ADORE collies and my second love is German Shepherds so he is really tugging at me. :( :(

Would LOVE him to find his forever home very soon. Everything crossed for you, Nick! :D :D :D

It is wonderful to see the picture and read the update on the stunning Ruby (whom we called Lucy). She looks every bit as beautiful as we always knew she would be. :D :D And now to be a big sister herself!!! Lets hope she learned her big sistership from Mollie here – as opposed to Tigra!!!!   Lovely to hear from you, Ruby. :D

Our gorgeous little princess, Angel, went off to her very own happy ever after in Galway this morning. :D It was a wonderful start to 2012 for her particularly as she took her adored sister, Asha, with her! :D :D We are very lonely after them but SO, SO happy that they were homed together. :D :D Best of luck, my little stars!!! :D :D

Well our beautiful Asha headed off to a wonderful new life in Galway today and we are – as always – REALLY sad to lose her. :( However the really fantastic thing is she took her sister, Angel, with her! :D :D We couldn’t have wished for a happier ever after for two beauties who were devoted to one another. :D :D A great day for the Kleenex factory   and a marvellous one for our two princesses. :D :D

Received a lovely update from Pippy’s forever family:

She continues to be a complete little ‘energiser bunny’, and just does not seem to stop. When she does collapse she is the typical baby, totally out and then bounces back to life once she has recharged her batteries (so to speak). The walks and runs are the highlight of her day where she out paces everyone and by the end is bouncing around wanting more as the rest of us are in an exausted heap. She had her first long hill run with the big dogs today and LOVED it, she usually goes with me at a more sedate pace but I guess those days are past! In the evening it takes a while for her to settle down as she wants to be up and doing but as you can see once she settles it is usually in the warmest place, and always manages to get inbetween either dogs or people. The dogs are not allowed on the furniture but as far as she is concerned bean bags don’t count and she somehow manages to be asleep on someone without anyone noticing how she got there. She is turning into a great defender of all family members but thankfully now accepts the postman as a normal part of the day. Our biggest problem was she decided to chew collars, well to be more precise the other dogs collars, she would lie on top of them as they were asleep and basically just chew their collars off. We tried every make and type but have had to revert to taking Mac’s collar off now when they are in, it took us five collars to learn that! He will let her lie there happily chewing, – anything for a bit of peace – while our lab just tends to either play with her or if he has had enough she has to be quiet and sleep. It is still very unusual to find her in her own bed and on the rare occasions she is, she will be found buried under the sleeping bag with just her nose poking out. All in all she is a bundle of happy energy keeping eveyone on their toes!

She is pictured with Mac – our first DID, our lab and my father in laws Douggie, another DID, all waiting for the command to eat. Then, thankfully, asleep at the end of another busy day, still just a baby at heart!

Well our beautiful little teddy bear, Asha, was vaxed and chipped last night and I was so proud of her – she never made a sound, just took it all in her stride! :D Asha – having recovered from her dicky tummy – has become really playful and vocal which is great to see. :D She is amazingly lazy   especially for a puppy with the collie breed in her. She won’t stand if she can sit and she won’t sit if she can lie!!!  She spends her life at our feet and has been walked on many times but she just moves slightly and lies back down again without even objecting to the foot that landed on her. She LOVES to chew especially anything being worn by a human – slippers, socks, belts and traily bits are a firm favourite with her! :D :D She loves her cuddles, loves her grub, loves everyone (canine, feline and human) in the family. A great little girl. :D :D

Well a big day for Angel yesterday when she had a visit from Kim and Kathy and the vax and chip adventure! True to her name, she was angelic during the process – not a whimper, not a flinch, NOTHING!!!! :D A true star. This little lady continues to thrive and to grow in confidence by the day. She barks like crazy when she greets us in the morning, she continues to love her cuddles, she is eating really well, sleeping like a top! She is amazing in the car – lies down and sleeps for the whole journey. She loves the cat here and adores all the dogs – a fab little lady!! :D :D

We have a great Santa photo of my eldest son, Mark, when he was 3! The photographer wrote what he said on the photo "I am fed up, I can’t smile any longer!!!"  The Christmas picture of Macy put me in mind of that – "OH NO!! Not another Christmas photo!!!!"  Looking great all the same, Macy. :D

This little pet’s transition from angelhood to devilment isn’t quite as pronounced as her sisters!

Asha has also come out of her shell but she is far and away the quieter of the two. She loves her sleep and spends quite a large portion of the day in one of the – many – beds here, sleeping or resting or observing which she loves to do best! :D :D She has become very playful too (in her other moments) and loves nothing more than a spat with Angel or Thor if he is available!!

She has the most amazing coat, like a fluffy teddy bear and it is SO soft. Asha has stolen the hearts of everyone in the house here including the gang of teenagers that populated my back room the other night (courtesy of my daughter!!!) She is a joy to foster – a wonderful little girl. :D :D
