MemberJackson had a great first night.
He settled down in his bed in the kitchen with the others and there wasn’t a peep out of him all night!
A few messages left for us this morning but he is only a baby still.
He is extremely affectionate and loves being picked up and cuddled. He has that endearing quality of wrapping his paws around you – around your neck or your arm or your foot – SO CUTE!!!!
He has a great appetite and loves to play. He is not especially chewy ( though maybe my standards have changed since Diva
).
He is good in the car – gone off with the hubby to be shown off to his family this morning ( a rite of passage with all our fosters!!!). We haven’t heard a sound out of Jackson so far but give it time, I am sure!!!
A great little man.
Here he is getting to know two of his foster bros, Casper and Thor.

MemberJust off the phone to Diva’s new daddy! All going well. They discovered that she is an early riser – a legacy from here, I am afraid
– and they had her out for a run at 8 o clock this morning!!!
She loved it, chasing a ball and meeting new friends. Very quiet here without her, I must say.
Stay happy, my little beauty.

MemberWell with misty eyes, I dropped our gorgeous princess off to her new life in Carrickmines this morning!
The misty eyes were all on my part, I have to say.
I left Diva tearing around like a lunatic chasing her new little sis, Lucy.
All the very best, my special lady – we will miss you.

MemberOh, Brian and Marie, thank you so, so much for the wonderful update! Alfie looks so well, gorgeous and happy. I am not one bit surprised at the bed moving story – he was an amazing little chap when we had him here!!
Stay well and happy – all three of you!!!

MemberCouldn’t resist calling in to see this little man – well I was passing right by his door!
He is still absolutely gorgeous with the same really handsome face and the softest fur. He was really excited to see me which is always lovely – I would hate to think that any of my fosters don’t remember me!!! We had loads of hugs and kisses and he showed me his big bone and all the beds he has around the house. A really happy chappie with an equally happy family. Louise has promised photo updates – I will be calling again if they don’t appear.
Great to see you my gorgeous guy.

MemberDiva continues to be a joy to foster and she absolutely keeps us all entertained.
Just back from our morning walk in Tymon and, as usual, she made me laugh many times over.
Diva ADORES a ball and will bully ANY one of the others out of it if they get to it first (including Sam and Mollie who tease her for a while and then, in typical parental fashion, just give it to her!!!) However, she also loves a stick and to see her on the horns of a dilemma when she finds a stick is so funny – she runs from ball to stick, picks one up, drops it in favour of the other, then changes her mind until I have to move her along!! When we come home from the walk, she runs straight out to the utility room where the dog food is kept, noses the dog food bin and, if I amn’t RIGHT on her heels, she comes out with a worried expression – "Where are you? I am STARVING!!!"
She also loves to "make the beds"! She relocates all the dog bed blankets during the day so we have some bare beds and some worthy of the "princess and the pea" in the amount of blankets they have!!!!
A real sweetheart!!

MemberHere is our beautiful princess all flaked out from her walk!
She is the one on the end (on the left) resting on Mollie. The other two are Thor and Tigra!

MemberAlways one of my favourites on the website, it is great to see Nigel looking so well and so happy. Thanks for the lovely update.
I am so sorry to hear about his condition but if it can be managed then he is a lucky guy to have found such a family!
Best of luck for the future.

MemberOh wow, Gillian. She looks fantastic!!!
And so grown up. Please give her loads of hugs and kisses and licks from all of us here. Delighted to see you, our little Minnie the Minx – sorry, a much more refined and mature ELSA!!!

MemberPlease take this "I TOLD YOU SO!!!" in the nicest possible way.
Terenure vets are miracle workers in my opinion – they have hauled several of ours back from the brink.
Thrilled to bits for little Ellie and equally delighted for you, Mary. I know how worrying it is to have to watch them so sick.
But it’s onwards and upwards for you now, little Miss Ellie (shades of Dallas there betraying my age!
). Best of luck on your way to your happy ever after.

MemberOh how lovely to hear from you Kramer.
When we knew you, you were just Kai, a teeny 8 week old little scrap.
You were gorgeous then and you are even more gorgeous now. Best of luck to you in your new life and all the best to your new family too.
