MemberHad the pleasure of meeting this gorgeous little guy today. He is absolutely beautiful, very like his sis, Tyra, who is in foster with me here.
He is bigger as you would expect given that he is one of the litter males and he has the most AMAZING crinkly ears – a crimper in the hairdressers couldn’t do a better job!!!
A real sweetheart – just like his sisters ( making sure we have no jealousy
)

MemberDespite my foster mammy’s blindness ( "they haven’t grown much" HUH!!!), I have gained one and a half kilos since I arrived here.
Not too surprising – the food is great and there is always lots of it, enough to even satisfy a rapidly growing girl like me! I have also discovered the joy of sitting under the table at mealtimes when absolutely GORGEOUS stuff comes my way. All 7 of us sit and take turns getting the titbits – it’s great fun.
Tyra continues to delight us all here. She is full of confidence, not as vocal or as nippy as her sis and she has the prettiest face imaginable. She is coming on in leaps and bounds and patiently waiting for her own special family!

MemberDid I make the mistake of saying that these babies haven’t grown much? It was only when my son arrived home after a week away and mentioned that they seemed bigger that I decided to weigh them.
They have each gained a kilo and a half in the 2 weeks they have been here!!!
Why am I surprised – they eat like horses and have become very fond of getting their titbits at the table just like the rest of them here – I know, I know!!!!! Tori continues to be a little madam who lets you know what she wants quickly and vocally.
And then I see her as she is now, cuddled up next to Sam fast asleep and GORGEOUS and I can forgive anything. Tori is a very intelligent little lady just waiting for someone to call her very own.

MemberThe above pic was taken last weekend when the girls went a-visitin’! They went to my sister-in-laws first and then to my mams. They discovered a football in the first house and had an absolute "BALL" with it
My mam’s house has a big garden and when they arrived there, they tore around like lunatics with her little dog, Gracie so little wonder they were ready for a LONG sleep in (one of ) Gracie’s many beds!!!
They were very good in the car although they wanted a lap for most of the journey (thank heavens there were two of us!)
They continue to thrive and they consider themseves well and truly part of the pack here. The girls haven’t grown a whole lot as far as I can judge. They are positive BUNDLES of energy and we have a mad chasing game every night – behind sofas and in and out of rooms! You would be dizzy watching them. They still love to chew but they will chew what they are allowed as long as you make it clear what they can have and what they can’t.Real sweethearts!

MemberOh Audrey – she looks wonderful!!!
She is a total credit to all the work, care and love that you have shown her. She has grown into a stunning young lady just as I knew she would. Well, well done Audrey and have the happiest of happy lives, Velvet ( I know you will!!!!). Thrilled to see you.

MemberThis gorgeous little baby continues to thrive and to grow in strength and confidence!
She absolutely adores the bigger dogs here especially Sam and she can regularly be found cuddled up to him in his bed.
When Sam is vertical, she constantly wants to play with him and climbs up to pat his face and even sticks her head into his mouth!
Sam is – as always – totally indulgent of her but I sometimes rescue him – there is only so much ear tugging and lip pulling a dog can take.
Tyra plays endlessly with her sister and she is really curious. She often emerges from under the trampoline with a chew toy or a ball that we had forgotten existed and she knocks great fun out of it.
This little girl would really love to find a family of her own (and we would really like it for her too). Maybe one with an established Sam in residence . . . . . .

MemberWell this beautiful little lady continues to thrive and has won the hearts of everyone here – no surprise there I suppose!!!!
She is typically puppyish in every way – textbook almost. She plays frantically for a while, then finds a comfy bed and collapses for a good, long sleep (usually wrapped up in her sister)
She loves toys and playing tug of war but without a doubt her favourite activity is biting at the lower legs of ANYONE she finds.
She ADORES toes, ankles, socks, slippers, flip flops and the ends of trousers!!! That said, she is beginning to cop on to the word "no" and will stop when told (usually!!!). She is really growing in confidence and gorgeousness by the day. She would love to find a family of her own and truly desrves one.

MemberDid I make the mistake of saying that this little one was the quieter of the two????? Boy, was I wrong!!
24 hours after arriving with us, this little lady found her voice – and WHAT A VOICE!!!!
She HOWLS when you leave the room – for all of two seconds!!! – and she asks to be picked up and cuddled when she is tired. Tori is the "talker" while Tyra is the "doer"!
That said, she is a really sweet little girl, very driven to the humans in the house although she loves the dogs too. She is getting a good grip of the toilet training and will go if brought outside. She loves to explore, loves to play and LOVES< LOVES< LOVES biting at your ankles!!!!
No pair of trousers, no shoe and no bare toes are safe with this little lady around!
That said, she is really cute, affectionate and playful – an absolutely gorgeous girl!!!

MemberThis beautiful little girl has been with us a few days now and she has really settled in. She has no issues whatsoever – she loves people, ADORES the dogs here, has no problem mucking in with the – much bigger – gang that are the permanent residents in this house.
She is really making headway with the toilet training – she is one of those puppies that has almost an instinct about where and when to go and we have had very few accidents considering she is only a baby.
She sleeps all night cuddled up with her sis but , after the first night, she made it abundantly clear that isolated in the utility room was NOT for them – out with the crew and she is happy as larry!!!
She is extremely playful, loves to chew, adores her tug of war games with her – equally beautiful – sister. A great little girl – we LOVE her!!!!

MemberI second that, Fianna.
I really enjoyed the wonderful day yesterday meeting everyone and getting loads of hugs and kisses from all the doggies who came to show off how gorgeous they are!!!
Well done to all involved and a huge thanks to the great staff of Irish Liquidators who couldn’t have been more helpful. Anything we needed we got.
First of many I reckon!

MemberAnd the rest of the update. . . . . . . .
Mac, previously Jakie is also a DID and now with us four years. He is big and a total baby despite his size. He loves being with us and can usually be found asleep beside me where ever I am working, either inside or out. He and ‘Pippy’ have mad moments where they both do circuits of the house (outside) ducking and chasing each other, a real case of little and large and very funny to watch.
I hope all is well with you, your family and your extended canine family. I keep in touch with the website and when ever I have a down day the ‘Happy Endings’ always puts a smile on my face.IMG_0234.JPG
