MemberThis absolute little treasure is growing by the day – in both stature and confidence.
She is choc-full of attitude and she has a cheeky way of both looking at you AND answering you back that is totally endearing. The toilet training is coming on well (thanks to her foster sis, Penny, who took it upon herself to show Zuri the ropes) Now if Penny can only convince her that the vet bed in the sitting room is for LYING on and NOT p****ing on, we are laughing!!!
Zuri LOVES the other dogs here and is always on the lookout for a game or a wrestle or a tug match (plenty of takers here!!!) She does, however, love to be picked up and never wriggles or struggles to get down – she will happily lick any piece of you she can find and sits in your arms quite contentedly.
Zuri was vaxed and chipped the other day and there wasn’t a PEEP out of her – brave girl! She is waiting patiently for her forever home to come along – meanwhile we are enjoying her immensely!!!CAM_1218.JPG

MemberThis gorgeous little girl is still melting the hearts of all here and continues to be a gentle, calm little soul.
She has found her voice – courtesy of Zuri who wants to share the blame when the inevitable "WILL YOU SHADDUP!!!" echoes from some part of the house where a television programme is being watched to a chorus of yaps!!!!
Penny was microchipped and received her first vax the other day and she cried– to be fair, she doesn’t have a lot of flab for the needle to go into so it’s gonna hurt!!!
Toilet training still going well. Penny has become really devoted to the other dogs here and seeks them out at every opportunity, especially when she is feeling tired and needs a nap. She is still spooked by "the great outdoors" and gets terribly upset if we try to leave the house with her.A total PET!!!

MemberCouldn’t agree more, Indianna!!
I spend my life talking about my lot to anyone who will listen and even to some who won’t!!! It is wonderful to hear how Kramer is doing – he looks like a really happy chappie – just as he thoroughly deserves to be.
All the gang here say "hi". Delighted to hear from you!!

MemberWell our little Penny-farthing has settled in really well and we all adore her! She is growing in confidence but she continues to be a timid little lady especially if confronted with something new.
She does NOT like strange noises and cars passing on the road outside – when she is out – make her shake all over (thank heaven for double glazing as she doesn’t hear them inside). She LOVES being held and cuddled and will happily sit on your lap for the whole evening if you let her.
She is looking a little less thin than when she arrived and she loves her grub – and OURS if there is any going!!!
She has copped on to the "sit if you want something" routine and has started to make her way outside to do her business 90% of the time!
She is a real little sweetheart.

MemberOh Sarah – he looks FANTASTIC!!! As do his sister and brother.
We always knew he would be big but also a sweetheart and this seems to be how he is. He was one of our ultra-special fosters and it is wonderful to see him with such a fab "happy ever after". Thanks so much for the update – it really means SO MUCH.
Love from all here, my big bear!!!ColganFamily
MemberHey, Giz. Susan and the gang here! Look how big you have become and still as handsome and cuddly as ever!
Fantastic to see you and Dudley such good pals. The gang in the park still ask about you – will be able to update them in the morning now!!! Great to see you.

MemberThis little sweetheart arrived last night.
She arrived to BEDLAM so it was a toughie for her. I had a gang of teens in the back of the house, five excited doggies – and me – in the front of the house and trick or treaters every 2 minutes!!!
So no wonder she was a little bit timid (or so I thought. . . . . . ) Turns out Penny is a really gentle, shy little girl by nature – a culture shock after Miss Cocksure 2012 (aka Allie, only gone since Monday)
Penny is the sweetest, gentlest puppy imaginable, never happier than when she is in someone’s arms being cuddled. She tends to approach the other doggies a little on her belly as if not too sure of how they will react but, to their credit, they are being very careful with her and already her confidence is growing (just a little!!!) She is eating well, she slept well last night – she is sleeping quite a bit but, again, that is probably in comparison to the little pocket-rocket, Allie!!
Can’t wait to get to know this little lady a bit better.

MemberWhen the photo above was sent to me, all I could think of was that the game MUST have ended at some point cos both Allie and Dolly look nice and WRECKED!!!
Isn’t Dolly fantastic to mind her new little sis so well???
