MemberMacy is all tuckered out after her play date with Kit today – he is a lovely doggie so she was in good hands. See photo with a smile on her face. The stitches are out and a clean bill of health given.

MemberMacy went on a play date with little Calvin yesterday. He is a little fluffy dog and a perfect for her. they got on like a house on fire. It was so sweet to see Macy playing like the young thing she is, but she just has to be reminded of her own strength. She barks very rarely and it was great to see her beseech Calvin to play with a happy bark.
Talking of barking, she lets me know when there is a stranger outside with a great deep woof. Very reassuring and most welcome. I don’t comment either way, lest she become a mad barker!
She has recovered very well from the operation and despite chewing through the cone, she is not pulling at the stiches.
I love this girl. A super dog.

MemberMacy is recovering well from her neutering op on Wednesday. Looks a little foolish with the cone on but it is all for a good cause! Keeps bashing into me with it, just to get close. So sweet.

MemberA happy breakthrough today. Macy met with some super people and their dogs after her walk up wonderful Carrickgollan. They understood that she was nervous and taught her how to be with other dogs. It was an emotional moment for me to see her so happy and relaxed and I am so proud of her. She is super with children too and they love to come up to her and pet her.

MemberHad a chat with a doggie expert and will be putting that wonderful advice into practice. Macy just needs gentle handling and to know that other doggies just want to be friends. She is dying to play with them but does not know how, poor thing.
She is snoring here beside me, by the way! All tuckered out after her long walk. loves peanut butter in a bone "this will keep me busy" she says happily…

MemberMacy is a super clever girl. Loves her walks on the beach, but not happy to swim yet! Working hard on socialising her as she is not comfortable when other dogs run up to her. Loves routine, needs two decent walks a day and fine on dry food. Still working on the house training at the minute. We have had two accidents today and yesterday but none the two days before that. Follows us around the house, happy to be with anyone of us. Sits and stays on command. Very sweet. Loves it when we just sit and watch tv and lies at our feet, sighing happily. – foster Mom
