PJ was not well at all and spend a few days in cara recovering but thankfully he is back home with us and is feeling much better now.
I do think he was delighted to be back with us and his buddies so hopefully now it’s all good news from now on for this little man :D

We have renamed Luka .. PJ… as in Pal Junior.. He is the absolute double of Pal !!! Just like a miniture version … I will take a photo of the two of them together as you will see what I mean :D He’s a teeny tiny thing … I’d say only just 8 weeks if even !!!!
So PJ has settled in nicley.. he has a lovely personality.. such a happy little man despite the fact that he has mange and it’s probaly uncomfortable for him !! He had an accident in his crate the first night only and since then NONE !! And at night time there isn’t a sound out of him even though he is so young and in a crate all on his own :D

So Markey ended up with me..he’s my first ever staffie and what a sweetie..
He is a funny feisty little man.. jumping up and down in the garden trying so much to get Missy and Pal to notice him and then he had a game of tugga with my 5 yr old Luke.
He is nippy but that is only to be expected from an eight week old and he is responding very well when we say OUCH!!
Markey is leaving me tomorrow but he has been nothing but an absolute pleasure …
Hope he finds his forever home soon :D

So Dexter is still with me and I am delighted he is :D Still is a dote but he does have a few issues so any tips here would be appreciated…
He cries in the car… can’t figure this one as he should be used to going in the car at this stage especially as he is so young .. he’s not quite as loud as when I first collected him but still cries all the same so he must be quite stressed about it all!!
When on the lead in the park he barks a lot at my dog Pal… very much in his face, he actually annoys Pal so much that he snaps at Dex to put him in his place… and believe me it takes a lot to annoy Pal.. any of you that remember him would know this…
He has also done the same to Erics’s boyfriend’s dog Max (aka Calvin also from DID ) when she has taken them on walks together..
Both are male dogs and it seems to be when he’s on the lead!
He doesn’t seem to have any interest in meeting new dogs which I find very strange… Missy & Pal want to sniff and play with any new dogs they meet and they are not puppies… Even Decota who has only gone on 3 walks with me so far wants to meet everyone…. I just have never met a puppy that does not want to PLAY … He does play with my dogs at home though ??? Just I know how important socialising is for them and would not like him to miss out any more than he may have already..
He is Very strong for a little pup and pulls on the lead.. thought initally it was excitement and possibly not had been lead trained at all..However 3 weeks on there’s not much improvement so think puppy training class would be invalable to him.. (i have done these with mine but it’s just hard to put into practice with Dex while I’ve 3 others with me..)
So it’s not all bad.. he is very good off the lead and comes straight back to me when he is called.. while off the lead he doesn’t bother with other dogs so although I think he’s missing out by not being social he is not aggresive towards them either which I guess is good…
So as I writing he has come up to me to say hello.. He still is my little pet even with his problems… Problems that will be overcome I might add :!: :!: :!:

Decota is a lovely little girl… she was a bit sad when her sister Domino went to her forever home but then Dexter came along.. now he and she are the best of friends… :D
Decota is a gentle little girl who is always happy to see you.. she is quite like Pal except she is brown but the markings and temperment are similar and although she loves playing with Dex when it comes to bedtime she and Pal always seem to be snuggled up together!! She and Dexter are about the same age and she is a good bit smaller so I don’t think she’ll be very big when fully grown. She does like company however and I think would be happy in a home where someone was home for a good part of the day!
We’re just about to go on our first walk with her so we’re very excited and will give you an update after hopefully with some photos!!!! Fingers crossed the rain holds off!!!
