MemberChannel (Coco as she is known in our house) is doing great. We’ll have her a week tomorrow. It feels like she’s been part of our family forever!!! My son ( who is 3 and a half and an only child) is a little bit jealous of her but he is getting better by the day. Coco is such a gentle soul. Loves her walks and jumps around when she sees her lead. She really has settled in well. Her lampshade is coming off her on Tuesday and I hope to get her groomed later in the week. I will post some pictures of her once she is all spruced up.

MemberWell we picked up Channel (aka Coco) yesterday and brought her home. Straight away she made herself at home. She let the dog next door know that she had arrived!! She had a good nose around the garden and played with her new ball. We played in the garden all afternoon. Half our family arrived up with presents for her (talk about spoiled). She didn’t even flinch. She kept getting everyone th throw the ball for her or rub her belly. She is such a gentle soul. After tea we we went for a half hour walk. She is so well behaved. We were worried about her first night in our house but there was no need. She decided that the best place for her to sleep was on the couch in the sitting room. We didn’t have much say in the matter but that didn’t mater cos there wasn’t a peep out of her all night.
Today we’ve been for 3 walks and met other cats and dogs, they didn’t bother her at all. The only thing that she wanted to look closer at were the ducks in the water!! She’s great in the car too. At the minute she is crashed out on the couch beside me having her belly rubbed.
We are so grateful to everyone who helped us adopt Channel. I’ll get my Hubby to post some pictures once he’s put pur son to bed. Thanks again. I’ll keep posting. Carla, Charlie and Charlie jnr.

MemberI met Channel today and my heart melted. She is such a beautiful, friendly dog. We are taking her home on Saturday to stay with us forever. We are so very lucky. Thanks to Kathy for making it happen and to Fidelma for the home visit.
