MemberI can’t understand how anyone could surrender this pretty little woman to the pound, she’s completely overwhelmed in there. She’s incredibly gentle & timid, she’s crouches down as she walks, almost trying to make herself invisible, so so sad to see. She has a lovely nature and with a bit of tlc & reassurance she would make a fantastic pet.

MemberHi Saoirse, they’re both girls, the tan puppy is Rose and the black one is Lily. They’re absolutely adorable, they’ve been spending their days playing and snoozing and have been an absolute pleasure to look after. Siobhan, their fosterer, will update on them shortly. Caroline.

MemberHere’s an up to date picture of these two little beauties, I’m just minding them for a few days for their fosterer.

MemberThey’re all gorgeous, I don’t know how you keep track of who’s who! You realise just how tiny they still are when you see them next to the cat. Little dotes..

MemberLelia is a timid little baby. She’s very gentle, too nervous to leave her kennel. We spent more time with her than the others as she was just so sad.

MemberTwo little characters, in need of a good grooming. They seem very attached to each other & are together in a kennel together so at least they have each other for company.

MemberThis little man continues to thrive with Natasha. He’s a happy go lucky little puppy who just enjoys life. Whilst he enjoys running around with his doggy friends he doesn’t stray far and always checks to see where you are. He had his first swim this morning, he hadn’t been brave enough so far, & he absolutely loved it.

MemberThe lovely Freddie, looks like he’s having a great time in his foster home, such a gentle and loveable puppy, he really is one in a million.

MemberAgreed, I met Wendy in the pound a while back & fell in love with her. She’s a beauty, so lovely & gentle. Looks even better now after she’s lost a bit of weight, it’s so nice to see her happy.

MemberPoor little Robin is in terrible condition & seems very depressed. We hated having to leave her there. Despite her condition you can see she is so pretty.

MemberWell Freddie is settling in well, continuing to get on great with my dog, he follows him around everywhere & is stuck to him like glue, especially when they’re out for their walks, so much so that he’s been pee’d on!! He’s had a bath now which I think he quite enjoyed & is feeling much fresher. He’s been getting lots of admiring looks when out & about, but no wonder, he’s such a little cutie & walks well on the lead. He’s getting on great with his toilet training, he goes out with my dog & copies what he does so it’s working out fine. He’s very smart & has learnt how to sit already. He’s very food orientated which will make further training easy. I’m guessing he has been treated badly in his past by a man as he’s quite frightened of men & startled by sudden movements. My husband is working on gaining his confidence with the help of some treats..The kids adore him & him them, he gets so excited to see them, it’s lovely. This morning the first thing my twins asked me was "is Freddie having another sleepover tonight?" Their faces lit up when I said yes! Freddie loves to have company so he would be best suited to a home where there is someone who will be around during the day.

MemberI picked up poor little Freddie from the pound this morning. Despite feeling very nervous he travelled really well in the car. He was very reluctant to come into the house at first but with a bit of gentle persuasion he followed us in. He’s settling in very slowly, I think having another dog in the house is helping him, he’s getting on great with my own dog who is rather large. He had a few little accidents this afternoon but that’s to be expected & we’re working on that. He seems more nervous of men than women but loves kids. He’s seen our cat and whilst he is interested in him he doesn’t seem intent on chasing him. I can’t get over the fact that someone would abandon such a beautiful, gentle, calm little baby like Freddie, however, I think we are really going to enjoy having him to stay.
