Thank you very much Catherine & Catherine for helping Benson.
He went in for his little job to be done this morning, so I will be anxious to know how he got on. Thanks to all who helped so quickly, I very much appreciate it. ;) :D :D
    Happy Christmas to all,

Unfortunately one of my dogs (won’t say who) does not give Benson an inch, and if she heard a growl at all she was in for the ful 10 rounds. :x :x :x As it was progressively getting worse with each encounter I have farmed her out and there is peace. It is no fault of Bensons as my other two and himself are all lying asleep on the floor around me no hassle at all.
I felt that this would be a very bad situation for Benson as he is only a puppy   and it could spoil his character before he even starts.
Please, if anyone can foster him until he gets his forever home (which I am sure won’t be long) you will be doing him a great service. :) :)
    thanks…mary

Well, Ben didn’t turn out to be his brother at all, so we went to visit his country cousins instead   He met Heidi, Jasper, Annabelle Nicola and guess what? We discovered he doesn’t like cats, which was too bad as Nicola has 3. Still, useful information.
Nicola took some photos and hopefully she will update with them soon.

What a beautiful pup, and a lovely temperament. It seems to be raining pups at the moment and each one lovelier than the other. Special as each one is IS NO ONE OUT THERE LISTENING…SPAY AND NEUTER. :x :x :x Well done for all your hard work Catherine. Mary

Well, after all that hard work on the p.c. he just had to get out and stretch his legs. Being a bit chilly he decided to wear his tartan jacket. Just the job! Very good on the lead by the way. Tomorrow we are going to visit Ben, originally Justin, as we think they are brothers. I actually did the H.V. for his new family. What a coincidence. Benson wants to know should he wear his tartan outfit? His brother will be going into obedience and agility. Just what I think Benson would excel at. Mind you, he likes his lie in front of the fire also.
    Photos to follow I hope?

Hi all, What a lovely little man I have here (the dog). He is a very clever little fella (the dog). He just wants your company and a bit of fun @ games. He is still only a baby and learning fast. It took him about 5 mins this morning to learn retrieve @ drop. A delightful personality combined with intelligence and a willingness to learn. What a package!!
This boy will leave them all standing if he gets a chance at agility or any kind of obedience training.
ALL THIS AND GOOD LOOKS TOO……..
we have decided that he will be Benson from now on , as he is not just a piece of cake.!!!

Well, what can I say. This young man just gets better by the day ;) ;) As you can see in the photos Nicola is here with her dogs so we are six. Ten if you count the humans. Not a bother with the six canine members of the family. They rub along very
well together. We could learn a thing or two I can tell you.
All Oscar wants from you is a session of fetch and he is quite happy to settle down beside you and go to sleep.
    A great little companion. :) :) :)

AND FINALLY…AN OSCAR FOR D.I.D!!!!   This wonderful dog is with me , but only for a short time I’m afraid. He is an absolute dote with no vices that I have discovered yet. He is very affectionate and playful. Wonderful with my 3 yr old granddaughter, very tolerant of two snooty Tibetan Spaniels and Polly who doesn,t give him an inch. Liz gave him her usual pampering yesterday and he came home like a child at Christmas with new toys (he had none of his own) a new bed (which he adores). Slept in it in front of the fire and we took it into the bedroom at bed time when he just hopped into it and slept like a baby all night. Puts his head up for a comforting rub now and again and flops back down, happy again.
He would play all day. He loves a tug rope, a ball, in fact anything round that he can "Fetch" He has boundless energy, but when you put the toys away he finally gets the message and settles down.
He just loves anything you do for him…brushing, tickling his tummy, great dog for hide & seek, in fact any game you want to play. He sits, gives the paw and looks up at you with those big brown eyes which will melt any heart.
He will make a fine family pet for a family who like plenty of exercise and fun.
    There will be photos v.soon. :P :P

What a wonderful journey she has made with special friends to help her along the way. It seems like when she got a foot(paw) on the ladder there was no holding her back. Since the day I saw her in the shop this is a mighty leap for her. It is no joke to live your life in fear and I feel she has been set free from this to enjoy the rest of her live which is her entitlement. You are both truly marvellous. :P mary

I brought Megan from the pound to Nicola having spent a lot of time
with her, walking around etc. She has no problem with other dogs, and is gentle on the lead but all over the place as she has no experience. She was a real favourite up there with all the staff, a real dote. I would have brought her home myself, but then there would have been two of us looking for a home!!! She responds very quickly to training, sitting, coming, and coming and sitting on the one command already. She is excellent with children. She is also very affectionate, loving her hugs. She will be the love of somebody’s life and it will be returned a hundredfold. :!:
