Hi Sarah and Jago
I am fostering this pup at the moment
, if you have any questions you would like to ask please post here.
Or anyone else who might be interested in him ![]()
This young chappie is doing really well.
He is fully house trained, has been wormed and flea treated. Due for neutering very soon.
He is soooo loving, he never is far from my side. He is lying down underneath my chair as I type ![]()
He is good on and off lead, has learned to sit and is learning to give the paw. He is still at the age he is squatting to pee, hasn’t learned to lift the leg yet ![]()
Don’t get me wrong he is still very much a puppy so he will still chew your shoe or anything he might steal from the counter given half the chance
. Yesterday he chewed up his special collar that lights up to improve visibility on these dark nights and then he hid the evidence down the back of the settee the clever daemon
![]()
He is good with other dogs and LOVES playing. He loves his teddies and is quite gentle with them (unless they get involved in a tug-of-war!!
He also loves running round and his walks, which are important for all dogs.
Because he is a black dog it can be hard to capture his cuteness on film. I read recently that one of the reasons that black dogs are the hardest to home is that we struggle to see their expressions especially in a photo, but trust me he has a wealth of expressions the most common being his "I love you" face ![]()
And believe me after 20 + years of white dogs BLACK IS BEST with regard to the hairs showing up on clothes, furniture etc. mind you he doesn’t seem to shed much at the moment.

This little fellow arrived yesterday and he is a real dote.
He is young and innocent and craves love and attention, he stays at my feet most of the time.
He has had no accidents so far which is very impressive.
And he was excellent off lead at the beach yesterday, and was great with the gang of 4…three terriers and a lab x
He is smaller than an average lab but still has some filling out to do, he is quite thin at present, though I doubt he’ll grow much taller.
He loves his food and I feel he would be easy to train.
In my (slightly biased cause my own is similar size) he is the perfect size, and a super temperament.

I’m sure you will miss her Kathy.
Reep rewards
The easiest ways to download it is go to the website http://www.reeprewards.ie then follow the link to download it in Apple AppStore or Google play.
When I searched in AppStore now it didn’t apear.
Let me know how you get on ![]()
Would you look at him up with the big dogs, I’d say he thinks he’s a big dog himself
and a great fella: and no doubt he is, in spirit anyhow ![]()
Good man chip!
Relaxing on the couch after a run on the beach.
Rex was very good with all the other dogs he met.

Rex is settling in. He is quite overweight as you can see from the pictures, but is quite fit so a good bit of exercise and diet and I’m sure he’ll be happier and healthier in a few months.
He loves playing catch and retrieve with his ball.

Safe trip and best of luck in your new home. Now that you are heading off to your new home I can admit to having a soft spot for you and following your progress ![]()
Your foster family looked after you so well and gave you a great start. I’m sure you will be sorely missed ![]()
You will be a handy one to have around packing the cases for the holidays….maybe you could teach Bea ![]()
Well of course she HAD to be fabulous with such a name!!
![]()
Best of luck in your new home Beatrice! ![]()
Love the photo of you snuggled up ![]()
I’ve learned to tell the weather from Bea myself.
Normal day: alarm call at 7.15. Rainy day: no alarm call. ![]()
Tigger is heading off to Collette’s house today (another foster home) where he will be living it up, no doubt.
He had been a pleasure to have around
.
He is very clever, super lovable, adores his cuddles.
He is easy to look after but has high energy levels so loves his walks and runs ![]()
He is great with other dogs, great in the car (he loves it now cause he knows he’s most likely going somewhere good).
Housetrained and wormed.
I don’t know what else to say about him other than if you met him you would fall in love ![]()
Anyone would be lucky to have him as part of their family
